Actually, so far only a small chunk of the precincts have reported results at the moment.

I'm not saying Romney has a chance at all at winning any further states.

All i was saying was the even though its 290 to 203 or whatever. Which looks huge, and its 87 votes.

A 18 vote state switch doesn't make that 87 only 18 closer it makes is 36 closer.

It looks worse than it is, is all I was saying.

It looks like Romney needs 87 more electoral votes, but in fact he only need 44 electoral votes from states already decided. That would give him 44 more points and lower Obamas 44.

I know but I'm still worried since it means a lot to my UC tuition.

went down in flames, as it should. Moroun (the owner of the only current bridge) spent over 35mil to try to keep his monopoly, too bad for him

I mean, really? you want to prevent the building of a bridge that will have the vast majority of its cost shouldered by the Canadians, will create jobs in an economy that badly needs them, when the only current bridge is already 83 years old and carried 1/4 of the entire trade value between the US and Canada.

Obama and Romney are tied for the popular vote (49%-49%).

So the GOP can't use this to spin Obama's win.

In the end, with the west coast numbers coming in, it's highly likely that Obama will win the national vote, too.

But it is 493 out of 538 votes possible. The remaining states can't give Romney over 270 votes even if Obama loses Ohio. Obama would have to lose a second, already accounted for, state. Not one of the uncounted states.

Alaska's polls close in about a half hour.

Fox News's website has pulled the "Romney refuses to concede" headline...did he finally man up and admit it?

I dont' think you understand me at all. I'm not trying to find a way for Romney to win. I already assuem Obama won. If Romney won i would be surprised out of my ass.

All I'm saying is one state switching means one side gains points whlie the other loses.

So if a 20 point state switches its a 40 point swing.

That's all I'm saying. Just stating a 87 point lead isn't as huge as it seems.

And I think you mean 290 our of 538, not 490.

Criticisms of Romney not being conservative enough have arisen

This worries me .. as a person that doesn't dislike the Republican party and believes people should have choice .. but is a social liberal ..

Reply hazy, try again

No, I mean the total counted for both Romney and Obama was 490 so far out of 538 total. There are state electoral votes that are not counted in the total yet.

So Romney will give a conceding speech first* and then Obama will give an acceptance speech?

*That's if Romney will concede.
