The sword is a talking sword who also happens to be one of the gods of steel. The sword copies authority and in Godou's case, can combine with his different powers. When he used the Kusanagi Sword on the boar in the fight against Lancelot, the boar gained a coat of armour. I think he got the sword after defeating a berserk Ena. I skimmed through bits and pieces of the fifth volume, so I'm not quite sure either.

Personally, I felt Godou reached a solid level of mastery for his original 10 forms in volume 6. He was able to use every ability to its full potential in the fight against Luo Hao.

By volume 7, Godou needed a little something extra against the enemies and hence we see the arrival of the sword with the variations it gives to Godou's 10 abilities.

IIRC, in volume 9, he went up to another level with the sword. As for the details, I just don't remember anymore. If no one gets to this, I might look it up.

Enjoys brutalising her followers for a variety of unusual, sometimes contradictory reasons--such as flattery on the battlefield and the lack of flattery at peace. Her apprentice/punching bag is a regular victim of her quirky antics. She's an egotistic, upfront, inflexible woman who will go to any ridiculous length to preserve and enhance her prestige and honour. When she got locked up in a rock by Sun Goku in volume seven, she managed to escape through a tiny crack, but decides to go back into the rock and vows to never leave except by destroying the entire rock--simply because it seemed cowardly to escape through a hole.

In terms of commonsense and intelligence of the campiones, it probably goes on the following order:

Alec
Godou
J.P.S
Vauban
Doni
Luo Hao

Erm how does the sword godou has talk? And how does it amplify his abilities like say the white horse or warrior. Also...luo hua seems....not so intelligent, so she's still in the rock?

The same way how Ddraig and Derflinger talks--it even calls Godou 'partner'.It did not amplify white horse yet. It merged with the warrior, but I forgot what it was able to do. As for Luo Hua, she destroyed the rock later on.

Kusanagi sword IS the sword that Ena used. It was transferred to Godou after volume five, but Godou occasionally lets Ena use it from time to time. I think it has the ability to split into two identical copies(not sure, it's a while since I last read it). Honestly speaking though, Kusanagi sword is as useless as a regular sword if Godou is not fighting against other gods nor able to use his authority.

Actually, the question now is whether would it be worth it or not. We have 2 translators active, one that appears out of nowhere and asks to remain anonymous () and one who did a few chapters and could come back (currently AWOL for now).

By the way, I second Kadi's comment. You guys are running the thread like hell.
