Today, at Microsoft's E3 Press Conference, Halo 5 was announced. Halo 5 will be developed by 343 Studios and appears to be an Xbox One only game for the present. The official trailer may be found below.

I think it might ACTUALLY be called "Halo."

I guess just removing ":Combat Evolved" was enough for them. Or for some reason maybe they just haven't officially announced the title itself.

They said Xbone exclusive.

It makes them liars, in E3 2011 they specifically introduced the Halo 4 trailer as "Start of a new trilogy for Xbox 360."

I'm curious on how Master Chief found a way to possibly revive Cortana. Because it looks like he's on a personal journey to get her back.

He survived a nuclear explosion point blank, I think it's safe to say anything can happen in the Haloverse

I still look forward to hearing news on the title. In fact, I hope M$ just decides to drop much of the BS and give the gamers what they want. It's as simple as getting rid of the 24 hr check and used game license stuff. I think the former would be as easy to fix as the press of a button too.

I'm a huge fan of the Halo Franchise. Cosplayed, and read all the books; heck I even wrote some fan-fiction. I bought Xbox 360 ONLY for Halo: 3 and made the right choice since I picked up (L4D,Soul Calibur,COD) with good online. I might buy the Xbox One just to continue Chief's story. Honestly I'd rather get a Wii U (I grew up to Nintendo! I love everything about it, even got myself a 3DS) or PS4 (Final Fantasy, PS3 games I never got to play cos I never owned one, and KH3!!) they all have nice exclusives. (I Hope StarWars BF 3 is multi console)

Could be, he is already a super being already. I am more worried or surprise by the fact he is still wearing his Mark VI instead of a Mark VII.

Unfortunately no, most likely Halo 5 will need much more higher specs than the Xbox 360's specs. Graphic card is also important, it is said that the Xbox 360's graphic card strength is that of the Nvidia GeForce 7800 compared to the Xbox 1's graphic card at the level comparable to the AMD Radeon 7790. Much more higher spec, Halo 4 looked very good I was surprise by how good the graphics were despite the weak graphic card.

I'm a fan of the series, not hardcore, but still a fan. However, I won't be purchasing the Xbone, so looks like I'll watch a LP when it releases.

Do what I'll do, mooch off my brother's Xbox 1 and Halo 5 that he is going to buy. Just arrive to his house unannounced, bring some buffalo chicken wings and play all you want.
