Hi, rugged here.
I've been lurking around the forums for weeks (actually just reading stuff in the Higurashi sub-forum), and I've decided to become a member here. Looking forward to having a good time here. |

Hi everyone,
my name came from Moby Dick (Hungarian rightspelling of Queequeg). I came here because I will move from my country and probably will not be able to reach my usual anime forum. I hope I find here a good community. I was sucked in by Vision of Escaflowne - one of the last parts aired on German VIVA or MTV, and I was caught by the beauty of the backgrounds and the strangeness of the cartoon. The final blow was Hellsing - I never thought in my life an anime could be so dark. Before I saw only a few minutes from Dragonball and similar animes sometimes on tv. Did not interest me too much... Nice day for everyone! |

You guys have a really cool forum. I've been a forum mod and even admin, but I've never seen a registration-to-welcome process as friendly and helpful as here.
I've enjoyed anime since I was about 9, but have had few chances to watch a wide variety. Back then, all I knew about was Dragonball Z and Gundam, though I only watched DBZ. I don't care what anyone says, DBZ remains one of my favorite epic animes of all time. Since my cousin has bought a lot of anime recently, I have been able to watch all of Full Metal Alchemist (my favorite anime, and possibly favorite story out of all other media ever!!!!), Samurai Champloo, s-cry-ed, and a few more. Oh yes! Samurai 7 was also an awesome series! I don't want to take up too much here: basically, several months ago, I became a huge Bleach addict. My main non-anime interest is programming and Web programming. I also take Japanese at school. boku no namae wa Curtis desu. Hajime mashite, min'na-san |

Hi, everyone. I've been into anime for a little while now, and have recently been to numerous anime forums to keep up-to-date on any news and the latest shows. Currently, my favorite shows from this 2006-2007 year are Ayakashi Ayashi, Code Geass, Death Note, and Negima.
Anyways, I hope to have a good time here. |

just wanted to say hello to everyone...
I got here a bit by accident... and I am one of those people who used to hate anime, and just a few years ago I was converted to the right path by a friend who knew exactly what would change my point of view first things I saw were Mononoke-hime, Ghost in the Shell and Hellsing... and after that I was more or less lost... the moment I saw Samurai Champloo I was completely lost with no hope for recovery I have a few favourites, Samurai Champloo, Samurai 7, Blood+ and Trinity Blood among them, but I am trying to expand my horizons a bit... |
