Woops, my bad. Well then I suppose the TSAB did a thorough background check on their new recruits and that someone in Nanoha's class has the Tomoyo syndrome then.

Those extra circle blade could be very usefull to be used for defense, pretty sure i saw a similar design on that in WoW.Anyone remember?
I like the idea of Cross Mirage v2 being a bit like Bardiche scythe Form, a close combat all around weapon.
Fate can go straight melee with it, but as we saw in ep 5 she can also throw the "blade", seems good enough for Tea.

Like I said, using the same technology that they use to view un-stealthed areas from the battleship without having to deploy UAVs, the wormhole camera, and the voyeurs dream.

Twig? No, but I'm sure its a 40-50 something 1H sword.

Kha your comment on her holding CM wrongly seem to be right considering the handle actually became somewhat in line with the barrel.

So the barrel became part of hilt and the circle function as knuckleguard similar to basket hilt sword in real life.

snap indeed^^ If it wasn't Nanoha I bet anyone else would have not been able to recover so well as she did cause it definitly looks like she got owned real bad, and (from summaries) the fact she even says she may not be able to walf again just proves how bad the situation was. Gah where are those decent LQ raws when you need them.

After looking at Tea's 2nd. form, I think it's more for close combat when ranged attacks are ineffective. It probably gives Tea more versatility in battle, and can be wielded like a sword, a chakram, or could be possibly thrown and retrieved. I'd call it the "Swiss-Army knife" of magical weapons from the looks of it. It looks pretty cool.

I liked towards the end where Nanoha is giving Tea a "pep talk":

Just finished watching the Nico raw, and my thoughts on this episode can be summed up in three words: Best StrikerS episode.

Main reason? The drama!

Spoiler for for those who want more detail...:

It's been a while since an anime managed to get tears in my eyes, and this one episode did so on two ocasions! I'm filled with inspiration, back to bio writing!

Ahh, this is why I love Drama.

Some short comments while the pros sleep/watch/re-watch #9 continously.

First thing: graphics are good this week. *Plus points added*

The title theme was that ominious one they used last week. But at least they managed to end this section in the good ol' Nanoha way (short of the befriending though.)

Subaru seems to like ice-cream a lot. In the manga she got herself a multi-layered cone during her "date" with Tia and Gin-ne.

Shari seems to play the onee-san/baby-sister to the newbies, perhaps spending more time with them than even their captains do. They tend to listen to her too imho.

The first thing I thought upon CM mode 2's grand entrance was actually "Chakram?!" (though CM calls it Dagger Mode). Though, like what many have noted, the design at the handle seems a bit... impractical.

This might the first time we see Signum lose her temper (or did she?) on screen.

A thought as to why Nanoha was so disappointed with those two last episode. Besides the recklessness factor, she was unhappy that Tiana wasn't putting her strong points to good use and was in fact wasting all her (Tia's) effort doing all those training. While this might not show too much in the mock battle, should Tia did something like that during a scrap, she would not only get herself in a dangerous situation, but also expose her comrades to unnecessary danger (one of her main responsibilities is to divert enemy attention with her covering fire and illusions).

Problem is, why waste a wormhole on watching Nanoha even before she gets involved with Yuuno?

Do they have a sort of cerebro for magical girls up there in TSAB?

Hmm dual wielded half moons can be pretty efficient if you pick up some martial art to go with it. Subaru mentionned that Tea is more agile than she is, and they were practicing close combat moves before Tea's lesson, too.

For mode 3 I just expect a cross mirage energy bazooka, just like a Rick Dom.

Edit: Re: magical drain training and Raising Heart...
Raging Heart shows how hax it is right from the bat with the training Nanoha followed. Cross Mirage doesn't have "image training" or magical drain that we can see, and poor Tea is forced to do real and apparently much less efficient work when solo, and Nanoha was forced to get a simulation zone for the newbies.

Nanoha still got the edge if she has to fight in outer space like in the manga

@estavali
I dont think Signum actually loses her temper , it is just her way of teaching people. That's why signum said in ep3 that she is not suitable for their training since she has a way of knight , all she does with her sword is to hack stuff ...I bet the rookies would all be in the hospital if Signum is their instructor.

And to top it all, it has never been stated in the anime that RH causes a strain on Nanoha. Talk about not giving up info.
