A famous man once said, “The universe is queerer than we could ever know”. But had he known about the existence of reality beyond the universe, he would find things that are queerer than queer.

I’m talking about the multiverse, the vast expanse of temporal and spatial reality that our universe, and countless others inhabit. A multiverse by simplest definition is a spatial-temporal reality that houses multiple universes in a single dimensional area. And an even larger existence is the omniverse, where various multiverse systems reside in, totaling up to trillions of known universes.

This staggering number of universes makes finding similarities between them a rare, but plausible occurrence. It’s not hard to imagine two universes with the similar gravitational constant, or ambient heat patterns. But with an infinite amount of particles in each universe, and with an infinite amount of ways with which their actions may be shaped by the probabilistic laws of quantum mechanics to affect their macroscopic actions, the chances that a specific object of matter in two universes may share any similarity at all is incredibly slim. However, while probability ensures that the laws of physics will not create the exact same set of conditions across all universes, that same probability does not forbid the slight chance that an exact duplicate may be created in another universe. While similarities between the universal variables are to be expected due to their general scope, finding small, localized objects that have a similarity to another in a different universe is a dauntingly unimaginable feat, bordering on impossible.

And yet through the sheer infinity of the number of universes in our reality, the chances of such similar objects being discovered are higher than one would think. In recent years, there have been reports of sliders finding alternative universe “clones” of themselves, people with similar physical appearance, personalities, many times even names, but with varyingly different histories. This phenomenon is known as “Omniplicity”, and is one of the strangest feats that our reality has ever created. And as this occurrence occurs to people, so too does it occur to objects as well.

Omniplicity, as one can guess, occurs when two universes create conditions similar enough to each other that they yield pretty much similar, or even identical results, like two cooks of similar skill working off the same recipe. Many omniplicitous objects are found on universes where their universal variables are highly equivalent to each other, to the point that intergalactic, interstellar and even interplanetary histories are almost identical.

The most interesting aspect of omniplicity though, are objects of similarity that arise even in universes with vastly different histories and physical laws. These so called “omnifacts” are unique items that by all physical logic should not have more than two occurrences in the omniverse, regardless of human intention or will. But not only do they exist in universes that have wildly different physical pedigrees, more amazingly still despite the differences in their origins the equivalency of these items are such that they may as well be the same object, often with 99% similarities in overall quantum composition. And even more intriguing, omnifacts are known to manifest in multiple occurrences.

As an example, the best known of the Omnifacts recently encountered by omniversalists like myself is an unusual device referred to as the “Decadriver”. This large belt-buckle like device is an omnifact whose exact purpose is still unknown, nonetheless it has the record of having the most known occurrences of any omnifact so far recovered, with 12 identical devices already in possession.

While one can scoff at the existence of these “omnifacts” due to the presence of mass production techniques, the true test of an omnifact is in its quantum locality index – in essence the telltale signature that indicates which multiverse sector the devices are native from. From extensive tests, some of the Decadrivers found have QLI’s with variances of 50000 Qirks - In layman’s terms, these objects are pretty much found on opposite ends of the multiverse, yet all the Decadrivers have similar material composition, size, weight, function, mechanics, and even writing and glyphs…

Lodoss OAV series was the first anime where I heard it. And the rough french translation was close to War Chronicles.

That would be truely breaking with Nanoha's Magical Girl past. A careful scrutiny of the Nanohaverse reveals that it isn't really a magical girl series. It's a fantasy-adventure series like Slayers disguised as a Magical Girl series. The high-tech look of TSAB equipment and the title obscured that.
There's also the fact that Nanoha, Fate and Hayate are getting too old to be called Magical Girls anymore. At 25, they're approaching the other contender for the title of oldest magical girl, right?

Having Magical Lyrical Wars as a title doesn't seem far off at all now. I already have Magical Lyrical Wars for the 40K codex-and-dice, and D&D5 pen-and-paper game; with Magical Lyrical Wars Chronicles for the fiction to be written for the game. There's no need to change anything!!!

Across from him, Megumi nodded. "Intel managed to isolate this one to an area of the abandoned sector." "This one makes what? The sixth one this week?" A glance out of the nearest window revealed the ruined city scape below them. "Why is this one any more special than the others? They sent Sham solo on the one that appeared two hours ago." "Apparently this one lasted a few seconds longer than the others as well as had a stronger reading." To back up her point she brought up a screen displaying the various readings side by side. "Bah. This one will probably be like the others and lead to nothing but paperwork," he complained. "However there is still the chance that this one might yield some answers," countered Evangeline. "As such we should look into it." Before he could continue the conversation their pilot announced that they were arriving at the coordinates. The rear hatch lowered, allowing the colder air to rush into the vehicle. In the distance the city of Cranagan was still visible beyond the heavily damaged landscape. Devices in hand, the mages prepared for the jump. "Henshin!" Sword Form Henshin *"Bite!"* The trio landed onto the former roadway, the force of the impact adding to the already existing cracks in its structure. Except for the sound of the helicopter flying away above, the area was fairly quiet. "See? There's nothing here. It's just like all the other ones," Ryoutaro announced, hands waving in the air for emphasis. "Except there are footprints here," Megumi interjected. That caught the mage's attention. "Footprints?" "Over there, right after that puddle," she pointed with her red-armored finger. It had rained that morning which meant there were still puddles left over in the creases in the road. Turning their attention to one puddle in particular they could make out a trail of wet footprints leading away from it and down a nearby off-ramp. "I take it back. This might be interesting after all." He was already assembling the components of his DenGasher. The off-ramp lead them down to an intersection of two major roads. This area was in better condition than the elevated roads and thus had less places for water to collect. That meant there wasn't much water for this person to step in to keep making a trail for them to follow. "Dead end," Megumi mumbled. "So what now? We split up and search?" Evangeline shrugged. "There's a lot of ground to cover, not to mention buildings to hide in. And the helicopter most likely alerted them to our arri-" In one, quick motion she brought up her weapon. "You! Show yourself!" Her two companions were caught in surprise at the sudden outburst. They quickly looked around and saw a figure emerging from behind a building. As the person came closer they could tell he was dressed in a standard brown TSAB uniform though there was no indication of rank or unit. Ryoutaro stepped up. "Identify yourself. This is a restricted area." The man paused and looked over the three mages for a moment. "Oh? So you are this world's Riders?" That remark surprised the trio. "Well that makes my job easier." "The hell are you talking about?" "It's probably easier to show you," he replied with a smirk. A large device appeared in his open palm. It was slightly bigger than his hand with a white center piece that had some kind of markings around a transparent center. They watched while he placed the object on his waist, a strap materializing to hold it in place as well as a large white book of sorts hanging from his left side. Gripping the sides of the now buckle-placed device he pulled the side apart, rotating the center section 90 degrees. He then reached over into his book and extracted a card. "Henshin!" With a flick of his wrist the card slid into the buckle and he closed the sides. *Kamen Ride: Decade!* The next thing they knew he was now standing before them in a barrier jacket resembling that of the Masked Rider Project. His armor was a mix of pink, navy, and white with a black and white 'x' across the left chest armor. The helmet was a matching pink with large, green 'eyes' and several vertical bars in the design. "Just who the hell are you?" demanded Ryoutaro. "Who, me?" He pulled the book from his side and rotated a section of it to hold it like a gun. "You can call me Kamen Rider Decade." The device was pointed at the other mages. "Heh. You know if you attack first we'll have to defend ourselves. And it's going to be three on one." "Oh, I know. But I'm not technically attacking." Pulling the trigger, a green beam enveloped the TSAB mages for a few seconds before dissipating. "The hell was that?" "Hmm...most interesting." Frustrated at not getting an answer, Ryoutaro walked up to the unknown Rider and grabbed him by the top of his chest armor. "Just what did you do?" Decade looked back at the mage, tilting his head to the side just slightly. "Why don't I show you? Plus I'd give me a chance to test them out." Before Ryoutaro could say any more he was sent sprawling to the floor by a well placed punch to the side of his head. He used the opportunity to pull out a new card and insert it into his belt. "Henshin." *Kamen Ride: Den-O Sword Form!* All three mages stared in shock at what they were seeing. Standing before them was an almost exact copy of Ryoutaro's Barrier Jacket with the exception of the belt. He was even holding a copy of the DenGasher in its sword configuration. "Time for a test run." Ryoutaro stumbled to his feet, just barely raising his weapon to deflect the attack. The two Riders slashed at each other, their weapons clashing. "Just who do you think you are?!" Their Dengashers connected again. "Well at the moment I think I'm you." *"Let's go, Bashaa Magnum!"* The next thing Decade knew he was stumbling away after taking several blasts to his side. Looking up he saw Megumi pointing her weapon at him with segments of her Barrier jacket having changed from red to green. "Well this got more interesting." *Form Ride: Den-O Rod!* Before they knew what had happened, Decade used his reconfigured DenGasher to land several blows onto Ryoutaro before using a sweeping kick to send him to the ground. "Cast off!" Cast Off Evangeline's sword was blocked by the rod. Change: Scorpion "Neat trick," Decade mocked. "However I have some of my own, too." He held up another card. "Henshin." *Kamen Ride: SaSword!* She wasn't caught by complete surprise by the sudden change in her opponent's form. Instead she kept up her attacks, hoping to land a blow to take him out. Even though she was in Rider Form he was still able to counter her attacks with ease. Hoping for an advantage, Evangeline leaped back and placed her free hand on her belt. "Clock up!" Clock Up By the time her increased speed activated, Decade had already pulled out another card. *Attack Ride: Clock Up!* She soon found her attack blocked by her mirror image. Not only that but he was moving just as fast as her own Clock Up. "As I said, I have tricks of my own." The duel continued in their hyper-accelerated states with neither combatant gaining ground on each other. Clock Over Evangeline stumbled back, the extended use of Clock Up having used up a lot of her mana to sustain. *Attack Ride: Rider Slash!* She swore under breath, seeing her opponent already preparing to launch the attack at her. Not wanting to risk another Clock Up she did the only other thing she could think of. "Put on!" Put On The external armor of her Barrier Jacket reformed just before the attack was released. Even though she took the blow, the additional protection absorbed most of the attack preventing any major harm to herself. However it still hurt like hell. "And just one more to try out. Henshin." *Kamen Ride: Kiva!* Not wanting to wait, Megumi sent a barrage of attacks at her opponent. Several hit their mark, but they didn't phase Decade as he charged forward. His attacks were blocked but she knew that this form was not the best for close-range combat even with the greater movement it offered. She blocked another punch and used the opening to slam her weapon into his head, sending him staggering back. *"Garulu Saber!"* With her blue armor and sword, she leaped at her opponent to resume the battle. Her attacks were fierce, but he still managed to dodge some of them, even using his bracers to deflect some of the attacks. "How about we even things up a bit?" *Form Ride: Kiva Dogga!* Before she knew it she was forced to take on the defense as Decade pressed hard with his massive hammer. The additional armor also let him take her strikes without much damage unlike her who was feeling each bash. She went in for another strike only to have it blocked by his handle. He then used the opening to land several blows on her before swinging the hammer around and sending her flying into a nearby pillar. *"Hey, Megumi! Hang in there!"* Still standing, Decade reverted to his default form and looked over the mages. "Well that was fun, wasn't it?" He turned and walked away from the group struggling to their feet. Evagneline managed to roll over to her side. "Just who are you?!" The Rider paused his stride and turned to look at them once more. "Me? I'm just a Kamen Rider passing through.

Jimmy C Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2007	That would be truely breaking with Nanoha's Magical Girl past. A careful scrutiny of the Nanohaverse reveals that it isn't really a magical girl series. It's a fantasy-adventure series like Slayers disguised as a Magical Girl series. The high-tech look of TSAB equipment and the title obscured that. There's also the fact that Nanoha, Fate and Hayate are getting too old to be called Magical Girls anymore. At 25, they're approaching the other contender for the title of oldest magical girl, right?

I already have *Magical Lyrical Wars* for the 40K codex-and-dice, and D&D5 pen-and-paper game; with *Magical Lyrical Wars Chronicles* for the fiction to be written for the game.
