Well, hard Kanji is hard. Even I studied Japanese a little bit (before dropping to take German instead) and touch only little Kanji still think that it's really hard. My friend always complain too. I don't want to think if I start learning Japanese again and have to go through Kanji...

But German is also hard for me too XD

German is a hard language after all, our grammar is a paradox and we change our rules how to write a word all the time. But well I like my language (It's great for writing and storytelling) I'm happy that I don't have to learn it as a second language.

Well~ about the name...let#s wait till we get information from the 7th Expanision...I think all translations fit so far

Nice to know that episode 5's been announced, and that there's... some information on it. 8D Hope that we might get some answers in this arc, although right now it (naturally) looks like it's just producing more questions.

That portrait (and the new character) creep me out, though. Wonder what their relevance is to the storyline. .___. (I quite like the theory that she's Maria's rose, although I wouldn't know how it would work. She kind of reminds me of that girl from Kizuna III in Tokihogushi, although I'm sure that's purely coincidential).

Hmmm. I get the distinct impression that this will be like the the early Higurashi answer arcs...leaving us with more questions than answers.

Also having the "answers" not entirely related to the "questions" there are supposedly answering.

The new OP theme is "オカルティクスの魔女", straight translation would be something like "Witch of Occultics"
Also that new girl seems to share facial expression set with none other than... Bern. What a surprise.

Note from watching new OP:

1. Theme of the OP clearly changes. Now we feel more like fantasy(?) battle against witches. Even though there're still many mystery left to be solved, I think it's quite appropriate now because I think we can lay a basic foundation of the game's rules right now.

2. A lot rose petals scatter in the opening. Could this imply that one of the meaning for last letter could be "bara"? I think it's appropriate to think that the last kanji holds more than one meanings in this case.

3. We see the cousins and Kanon+Shanon stay by sides of Battler. Would this means he has more control of his pieces?

4. Seems the new witch will troll Battler a lot. I think the new girl is more like EVA-BEATRICE + Bern.

5. Poor poor Ange....

I'll add onto Alaya's notes on that angle, as it completely blew me away:

- Beato staring at Battler's back in the flower fields.
- Beato and Battler reaching out for each other's hands.

I'm wondering on Beato's hair being down. Beato? or who she really is? I'm not jumping to conclusions that the girl is Bern yet, just because Bern had her own moments in the OP. Also, since when did Virgilia have a portrait?

Anyways, new OP = win. I might need to get used with the OP though since it has a completely different feel. I'll know for sure when I play the game since I fully appreciated the first OP when I finished Ep.1.

Can't wait for this. Too bad I need to wait for the translation first but the wait is going to be worth it.
