I have a questions about the sales.

In that one Index rank 1.

But overall on all know light novel which are well known or just generalize in over all light novel in japan. What's the ranking of index? In term of sales or maybe survey.

I don't know whether it's number 1 or not, but it must be somewhere up there in the ranking.

Index is at the 11th rank of the best-selling of all time Light novel ranking(Note that rank 1st-10th are all the ancient which are more than 10 years old)

He is just on the middel, he faced both, Touma and Accelerator.

He faced both of them- Accelerator was sent specifically to *kill* Misuzu, but refrained from it when he attempted to protect his girl. On the other hand, Touma just plain punched him out.

Also, thank Xenosnake for telling me that it hasn't been translated yet. I'll be looking forward to the time when it is.

plant correct me if I'm wrong but the second column is for the volume right? It's already night and I know I should be sleeping but I don't think I'm that drowsy yet to mistaken that guin saga got a freaking 138..... light novel.

WHAT KIND OF LIGHT NOVEL IS THAT!!!!

on that list the only novel I'm familiar with aside from index is slayers, orphen, and FMP!.

Is their an english translation or english release for those in top? like haruhi and spice wolf which did have a release in english book.

There is also a problem with Guin Saga- it's over 138 volumes long, and there were more scheduled to be released before the author died. It's amazingly long, so I'm not surprised that it manages to edge out other light novels. Even if it has a small fanbase, if they buy each of the books, and the 20+ side/extra novels... that really adds up.

If so, I hope it'll come bundled with the Index S2 BDs... I want volume 23 so badly...

Eh? SS novels come out just like ordinary novels. Besides, it's important to cover what after math of the war is on the world and characters before moving forward.

I'm completely neutral about Shiage. I think he's a nice guy, except he does look kinda stupid on the cover of volume 21.

Well on his defence, I say at least he really apports with the romantic part of the series, unlike Touma and Accelerator.
