I had enough of the "Daughter from the Future" plot in the Tenchi Muyou movie: Daughter of Darkness. It's already been done.

LOL, I see that was in your mind when you made the joke, eh? Sheesh, that was bad. Of course, given the complete and utter lack of harem in Bleach, we won't see Orihime and Rukia fighting over whose child Senna has to be. It just doesn't fit in this genre.

I mean c'mon! We have the pre-Namek arc, the Namek arc, the Garlic Jr arc, and the upcomming "Androids" arc. Why not a li'l "Trunks arc" in the middle there?

Seriously about the non-harem in Bleach. It would give a perfect excuse for them to do a filler arc turning it into a harem series for a lil while until things get back "into control" for regular canon.

I cannot help but be aghast at the name.

Memories of nobody? WTH this is like hollywood wanting to call "Snakes on a plan" Flight 761, except......this time theres no link. At all.

I am willing to bet 5 internets that :

-Memories do not play a huge role in the OVA

-There is nobody called "nobody"

-The absence of people(Hinted by "nobody") isnt even in the plot, unless we are talking about the stereotypical "Soul society does NOTHING!" plot device so Ichigo can savethe day(they better not do this).

Its like they wanted a catchy english name and ran with this.

Why couldnt they call this Bleach : Memoirs of a cheesecake?

As Bleach is liscened we are not allowed to talk about subs .. All I can say is it will be still around 4-5 months min for the DVDS to be released taking FMA Naruto movies as a standard . And well as it a movie there will be dvd release only unless the producers think otherwise and air it on TV

I found the daughter part a bit Korny too I hope that part is underpalyed in the movie and left to veiwer's imagination

AHAHAHAHA...wow I was thinking the exactly same thing! I bet you're right too, the title will have little to nothing to do with the story...

Not like the title Bleach has much to do with the story, so nothing has changed in that regard.

There was an article in shonen jump way way back where Kubo was asked this question . There are two contradicting answers to it . I have not read it so I dont know which is true I would go with first one

1) Kubo is a fan of Nirvana and Nirvana had an Album called Bleach . Hence Bleach

2 ) Ichigo's Hair is Orange which looks like its Bleached .. so hence Bleach

These two speculations are ancient other than that I have not heard any other speculations

well, i like how in Gintama, the main characters had a discussion of why thier manga was called Gintama... Gintoki (main character) finally decided that it worked well to have a name that didn't really describe the show that well, but sounded cool so they could sell their show to little kids the same way Bleach and Naruto did. (though, yes, Naruto is the main character's name... but still). I guess one word names are thought to be best for shounen fans with short attention spans.

Bleach is unique and easier to say/remember than calling it Soul Reapers or Shingami Cup or Soul Society Chronicles or The Meloncholy Death of Kurosaki Ichigo.... ahem.

Plus, B comes early in the alphabet so its easy to look up.

I'm glad they didn't just call the movie "Bleach Movie 1" though... that would have sucked.

I think bleach will end up out for download with subs just the FMA movie was out with subs, i just hope it's soon i was thinking of takeing 4 days off work just to fly out there and see the movie.
