Ton has a lot on his plate! A sister that's excessively attached to him and walks in on him naked in the bath (lucky) and a mom who constantly hits him over the head with hammers because of it! Living with a massive brocon sister is a lot of work .

Their mom just did the Sailor Moon pose !

The siblings' mom believes in curing someone's issues by throwing them to the wolves...or in this case, having her daughter get sent into the thick of a bunch of dudes at a high school. And sporting a slimmer and skintight version of her armor! Of course that also makes her stand out as a weirdo and get chased around school, but that's Urusei Yatsura for you .

Isn't it nice when your family aren't just emotionally supporting you in your head but also right there with you? If only just to see all the crazy hijinks you get up to ?

Poor Ryunosuke. Gets mistaken as a man by a girl with androphobia, ends up flashing her chest at multiple guys, gets nearly crushed to death in an Asuka bear hug...and finally is Asuka's new "big brother." But at least she's comfortable around her now !

And now the siblings are sleeping in the same bed...and only Ton gets punished for it...yeah, this mom isn't cutting him any breaks .

I see we're back on the "hook Asuka up with Mendo" train again. But Ryoko won't have it! No one other girl can monopolize and potentially kill her brother unless it's her! Though she probably needs to come up with some new moves because her big brother can read her like a book now .

Asuka looks stunning in that yukata. Lum looks good in that bodyguard outfit as well! And of course she knows her Darling is already planning to infiltrate this date to get some quality time with Asuka. I'm sure this won't totally blow up in anyones' face .

Hey Asuka's mother! How about apologizing to all the innocent people injured by your daughter going berserk in a school and attacking people for no good reason! Good god. Just lock that girl up in a cave until she's too old to hurt anyone.

My condolences to Ryunosuke. Not only is she having a hard time being attacked, but this jerk keeps calling her a guy! If she decided to beat Asuka unconscious I wouldn't consider that an excessive reaction! Unfortunately not possible since Asuka is superhuman so...such is.

Man what a total chaotic disaster. On point for this show to be fair. It's consistent .

Well, this date between Mendo and Asuka is going off without a hitch! Minus her inhuman strength that makes even a tea ceremony turn into a clay molding session .

Sorry boys, but Lum has to find her darling...even if it means making you clean up a moat in cosplay and then shocking you. Which also ends up setting off Asuka .

Poor Mendo...Asuka seems to be gravitating towards him but she also ends up breaking his bones and knocking him out, leaving him to be puppetted by Ataru. They even changed his animation to look more like a puppet !

But no way could Ataru fool Lum! Even if it also ends up freaking Asuka even more !

Don't worry though, Lum has a plan! Having Asuka drive around in a frikkin' tank to get away! Or failing that, don a man-made armor made of tanks! Definitely not the strip show the boys were expecting (which is the only thing Mendo and Ataru can agree on) .

Man, Ton catches literally no break from either his family or Ryoko...the only one who is really nice to him is his brocon little sister...which is part of the problem .

I hope the Mendo family house has insurance with Asuka running through every wall and room .

The two little sisters meet! And Ryoko is keen to ruin things between her big brother and Mendo! But Asuka's mother is willing to use hero own son as a hostage and torture him to make Asuka go out with the source of her fear of men...Ataru Moroboshi !

Guess it's not too surprising the mom is as much of a beast as Asuka...even moreso, and she gets Asuka and Ataru chained together. Though luckily Lum is happy to escort the two and keep her Darling from acting up too much with Asuka. She seems to be enjoying sitting on him too .

Ryoko pushing Asuka to be true to her feelings and stand up to her mother! Which means wielding Ataru as a deadly weapon while her mom uses poor Ton! And then everyone turns on Ton when they think he's ditching Ryoko to marry Asuka just becuase he was defending himself! Ryoko seemed genuinely upset! The insanity .

Bold of Ryoko to try to escape with her brother via the Ataru-copter...but she didn't count on Lum getting in the way and cutting them down. And she was finally rebelling against her mother too

So in the end...nothing gets resolved and Asuka still clings to her brother and he gets beaten up by his mother for it (while the dad washes his hands of the problem). Poor Ton .

No one is going to top Ryunosuke's father as far as being an awful parent goes, but Asuka and Ton's mother is pretty close.

Truly the status quo...was the status quo . Only real consequences was a busted tank and some injuries to various characters!

has to be pretty exhausting for Asuka's VA to keep screaming "men!!!" over and over again. Though I guess she isn't in every episode so it's probably not too bad.

I know Asuka's mother was pretty much the antagonist of the episode...but Ataru was right up there with her and was truly in his element here. Truly he is better at nothing than harassing girls and causing psychological trauma.

The only thing more inexplicable than Ryunosuke and her dad getting an entire island for a steal of 300 yen is that Mr. Fujinami actually thinks they can hold a business in a deserted island far away from human civlization...but this is Mr. Fujinami we're talking about, so no surprise there. But hey, perfect excuse for Lum and Shinobu to wear swimsuits! Lum even has her name on her bikini bottoms !

It's nice to know Ryunosuke can air out her Ryunosuke's occasionally during a bath, but now she has to ward off ghost girls! And Ataru and Mendo !

So they're not just dealing with a ghost girl but a ghost dad too...the ghost of Fujinami's old friend Shiowatari, as he and his daughter haunt the island. It also turns out Shiowatari thinks a lot like Fujinami in that he and his child drank urchin shaved ice in an effort to entice customers only for it to end up killing them both. What a way to die .

Why am I not surprised that Ryunosuke's dad basically had her engaged before she was even born and without her permission? Or that she can't mention she's a woman once? Or that the ghost named Nagisa wants to kiss him to pass on? Ryunosuke can never catch a break ?

I definitely did not have a giant sea urchin laying eggs and using it's tears to bring a ghost back to life on my bingo card for this show .

If the fact that Ataru and Mendo weren't all over hitting on Nagisa from the get-go wasn't enough of a clue, the fact that Nagisa is voiced by Ayumu Murase should've been an even bigger one that Nagisa isn't a girl...but a boy! Of COURSE Ryunosuke would get a femboy and trap for a love interest! And now she's stuck with him !

I guess at least one good thing happened...Mr. Fujinami having to endure all those sea urchin shaved ice! Serves him right !

Ten cannot win against Ataru, even his dreams don't end well, but when he chances upon a fairy voiced by Jun Fukuyama, he has a shot at making all his best dreams come true !

Lum really is a sweetheart! Finding a parasol for Ten to play with and then using it to protect some baby birds...even if it also ended up screwing over Ten in the process .

It then becomes a Ten vs Ataru fight over who gets to have their dream fulfilled...and Ten wins! Only the fair probably should've specified that he brings forth the person's prior dream and just magics it up out the blue, even if it's a bad one. The poor Moroboshi household !

I thought Nagisa's voice sounded real weird but it wasn't until Shinobu pointed out neither Mendou nor Ataru were hitting on her that I realized she was a trap. Their trap detector clearly works much better than their reverse trap detector. It seems like they figured it out instantly.

In hindsight, I really should have seen this coming. The dads were birds of a feather, so of course they'd pull the same stunt. Nagisa is a lot more comfortable with the gender identity her father assigned to her though.

Nagisa and Ryunosuke are living in domestic bliss! In Nagisa's dreams, at least! In reality Nagisa is living with the Fujinami's and basically mooching off of them and getting on Ryunosuke's last nerve. But that's about to be expected .

I see now Ataru doesn't just have to worry about Lum when he flirts with other girls, Nagisa won't let any other man flirt with his Ryunosuke. And he's as strong as Shinobu .

Well, yeah, no surprise Mr. Fujinami is bailing and leaving the kids alone...and Ryunosuke wants out of the house and away from Nagisa. But Nagisa doesn't want Ryunosuke to leave! And Ryunosuke can't beat him! Though it seems like Nagisa is still suscepitble to anti-ghost charms despite having a body again, courtesy of Sakura in a spectacular outfit .

It's Ryunosuke vs Nagisa with Ataru, Lum, and Sakura enjoying the show! Ryunosuke isn't strong enough to beat Nagisa, but Nagisa's earnest and sincere feelings seem to win her over! Ryunosuke just wants to defeat Nagisa...but deep down that's basically just accepting him into her life. Minus him getting frisky with her in bed .

What's worse, supplemental lessons, Ten, or a mad Kotatsu Kitty ?

I love how Lum is fine with supplemental lessons but she'll stay quiet for her darling .

Onsen-sensei has done it! He's finally found the one thing that could truly unite this class in true solidarity! Staying quiet through an entire lecture (on Ranma!) just so they don't have to take supplemental lessons. Not even a rampaging Ten, grenades, or even landmines will get them to say a word! And poor Onsen-sensei thinks it's just because they're finally taking his class seriously! But at least they succeeded !
