Does anyone have a translation of the new opening song? I have seen translations of a line right before the chorus begins, which are "I continue to fly" and "I continue to fight." I think the latter is correct, but I'd like to know the what the whole song is as well.

Or is this a question more for the music thread?

Dunno. This is just a "certain" translation. For the "I continue" part, I think it is "fight", but we won't know until the single comes out with the lyrics.
For the rest, it's just personal taste on how to translate it.

I just found this "particular" translation to be straightforward enough, given the circumstances.

I knew it was just a certain one. I have looked at two others already, but some had very different interpretations of the lines. I do think it is "fight" as well though. Other than that I agree with the rest of the translation.

Could this have been one of those songs that was sort of written for the show like COLORS was?

That would be Rollo, Rollo Lamperouge. And no, he wasn't in the first season.

But again, you're going to have to keep watching to find out who exactly he is.

I don't think any power other than Lelouch's has been referred to as that. Though just about everyone's seemed to have picked up Lelouch's geass name. >_>

As for why "power of the king"? Well just watch the opening narrations in the first season during the Mao arc: "If there exists someone who is able to rise above [this power]...yes, that person would certainly have the characteristics to be king.
