I'm reading it, enjoying it, and incorporating BlackOps!Chrono into Nena's story. ^^; You'll need to read 4th phase to know how it comes about.

Let's just say that my little idea has gone from a oneshot concerning mages vs. particle beam weaponry, to a four-part full-blown story and now to a much longer-running series of stories continuing after the initial four-parter.

I've really taken to Nena, I am quite fond of her despite how off-the-cuff her creation was. ^^;

Even as a "wishful thinking" pairing, it certainly is cute. Though it would count as lolicon. I would be interesting in seeing an adult Vita though. Rawr.

I love Star Wars, and I even like the prequels, but when it comes to romance George really should have hired someone to help him out.

I hate the prequels because they've strayed incredibly far from the originals.

I don't even mind the overuse of special effects--the original trilogy used a hell of a lot of special effects, just it was before the time of CGI tech.

No, what bugged me so bad was the plot (or lack of plot), the choice of actor for Anakin, the wallbanger retcons the prequels caused in the Expanded Universe (which had come up with far more believable explanations and backstories for many things)...

I could go on and on. While most folks say "it was all CGI wankery" I don't mind that part... as long as there's a plot to go with it.

Yeah, I was simply saying that relationships in the MSLN uiverse seem to be a touchy issue and I was rather happy to see that it didn't blow up and become a topic for outraged people to head into battle with swords, shields, torches and pitchforks -_- (okay, so I'm exaggerating but only a little.)

Ahh, yes. Keroko-kun has always been a NanoVita fan Shame there aren't more shorts or stories about them, I find them cute ^^ (although considering appearances, it would make Nanoha a lolicon )

Because the world needs more 5-year-old Vivio, dangit!

I know there isn't a Disney World on Midchilda, but there is now!

"Mama! Mama! Come on!" Vivio tugged the wrist of Nanoha while walking backwards when she decided that her parents weren't walking fast enough. "Hurry!"

Not picking up her pace, Nanoha watched with interest as the small child tried her best to pull her along. "Vivio," She turned to look at Fate when the kind voice came up. "Disney world isn't going anywhere. We will get there shortly."

The girl puffed out her cheeks. "You said that in the car!"

Nanoha giggled to herself. "Vivio," Her daughter looked up at her. "We need to wait for the trolly to come pick us up to take us to the front gates, unless you want to walk all the way over there?" Bending over, she scooped up the girl and balanced her against her hip. "See how far it is?"

"Let's walk!" She told them without hesitating. "It will be faster than waiting!"

Fate covered a laugh. "You did give her the option."

Not knowing what else to do, Nanoha simply sighed. "Vivio... I didn't mean that as in..." Looking into the excited eyes of her daughter she admitted defeat. "Fine. I gave the option... we're walking."

As luck would have it the next pick up point had a trolly waiting already, which they took advantage of when Vivio allowed. "Ne, Mama," She perked up as the cool wind blew on her. "We can stay all day right? You promised, right?"

"Yes, sweetheart." Fate leaned over to speak to Vivio and was rewarded with her crawling from Nanoha's lap into hers. "We will have lots and lots of fun today. Right Nanoha-mama?"

"That's right." She agreed readily. "And we're going to get those mouse ear hats for Fate-mama and you!"

"Wai!" Vivio threw up her hands excitedly.

Fate blushed. "Na-Nanoha... there's no reason for me to wear one..."

"Sure there is!" Nanoha protested, poking Fate's nose. "You want Vivio to be happy, right?"

Fate held onto Vivio when she tried to jump from her lap and run to the gates when the trolley stopped. "Yes, yes." Standing, she sat Vivio down only to snatch her back up when she tried to make a break for it. "Vivio, I told you to stay next to us at all times."

"But Mama is slow!"

"that doesn't matter," Fate soothed her.

"but maaaammaaaaaa!"

"Vivio," Nanoha's gentle but firm tone of voice made the small one give up immediately, wrapping her arms around Fate-mama's neck.

Fate looked at Nanoha sidways. "why does she always argue with me and give in to you?"

Nanoha grinned. "Because I'm the firm mama and you're the 'let her do what she wants' mama."

"I'm not-"

"You would cave in given time."

Fate sniffed. "...Would not."

"would to."

"Would not."

"would to."

"Hey!" Vivio interrupted them, tapping Fate-mama's shoulders with her palms and puffing out her cheeks. "Don't make me turn around and go home!"

A small silence came over the group before laughter rang out.

Spoiler for part 2:

Vivio looked around excitedly at all the people walking around her. Everyone of all shaped and sizes passed by her as she held on to both of her mama's hands. The two older women were looking at a large map in front of them trying to figure out where thy should go first and attempt to plan out their day.

They were moving much too slow for the little one, who wanted nothing more than to run to the side to hug the giant dog walking around giving balloons to children. Unfortunately both guardians held her hand firmly as she tried to worm away form them. Not one to give up, she brought her hands together and let go quickly, slipping her hands away. As expected, both women instantly latched back ahold, taking each other's hands instead of Vivio's.

Not wasting her time, She ran away towards the dog as Nanoha and Fate looked down at their joined hands. Victory was so close but an arm snaked around her middle and hoisted her in the air. "Wah!" The ground left her feet as she was carried like a sak of potatoes back over to Nanoha, who looked rather upset. "Once more," she held a finger up to Vivio's nose and spoke firmly. "And we're going home. Understand?"

"...Yes Mama..." She felt her feet get placed on the ground and saw Fate-mama kneel down in front of her.

"I know you are excited to get started," She soothed gently. "But this place is so big, you will get lost on your own."

"I'm a big girl?" She insisted.

Fate smiled. "You're still my girl, no matter how big you are. So stay close and always hold one of our hands. We will do everything for you, so please do this for us?"

Vivio looked down. "...Yes ma'am. I'm sorry."

"Good," Nanoha lost her attitude when she came back, bending over to offer Vivio the small slushie she had just purchased from a stand.

"Wai!" Vivio took it happily and drank.

"First, let's go to the animals since they are near the front." Fate pointed to the side. "You want to pet animals don't you, Vivio?"

She pondered the question. "What kind?"

"All kinds," Nanoha started leading them, one hand on Fate's and the other on Vivio's. "Even things that swim in the water!"

"Really!?" Multi colored eyes perked up. "Can we play in the water too?"

Fate snickered. "She loves water as much as you love the air, Nanoha-mama."

The other girl only grinned, hoisting up Vivio to stand on the stepstool by the water tank filled with assorted water creatures that were safe to touch. Bending over, she held Vivio's sides and leaned over herself to do it first to ease any of Vivio's worries about sticking her hand in.

The blond sighed, moving behind Nanoha to discreetly pull her skirt down a little. "You're flashing the entire park," She scolded in her wife's ear softly.

Nanoha grinned. "Jealous?"

"Yes," She hissed, pulling the skirt back down when Nanoha wiggled her hips to make it ride up. "That's for me to see, you exhibitionist. "

She laughed. "I don't knock your kinks, don't knock mine. " Sticking out her tongue to show she was playing, Nanoha adjusted herself to hold Vivio farther out to touch a stingray. "Easy now, Vivio, don't scare it.

Fate leaned over as well, sticking her hand in to try and get an eel that slithered away from her. "Aw..." Leaving her hand in, she smiled as Vivio lead another eel over to Fate's so they could both touch it. "Wow, that's icky feeling."

"So, Vivio-san, " Nanoha teased. "Look around, where do you want to go now?" With the help of Fate, she sat the girl over her shoulders for a piggy back ride.

Gripping Nanoha's pigtails, Vivio looked around excitedly. "There!" She pointed to another petting zoo section. "I want to pet the lions!"

"Lions..." Fate sweat dropped. "Maybe... the cubs over there?" She pointed to the safer creatures.

Spoiler for Part 3:

Vivio looked around excitedly as they came to the end of the animal exhibit. On top of Nanoha's shoulders, she smiled brightly as she got to reach up and lightly stroke a tall animal that towered them. "Did you feel it?" Nanoha asked happily.

"Un!" Vivio grabbed Nanoha's pigtails again. "Let's go that way!"

"Ow! Vivio, darling, Mama's hair! Fate-chan, get her for me?"

Fate laughed, reaching up to lift the small child. "C'mere Honey." Setting the girl on the ground, she took her hand. "Where did you want to go?"

Nanoha adjusted her hair, ending up having to take them down and just let it flow out behind her. "The small town?"

"Un!" Vivio started dragging Fate along to the miniature village section of the park. The buildings were all small, being just the right size for Vivio to enter and walk around a little. Random people dressed cartoon character suits sat in chairs waving to all the little people. "Mama, Mama! Can I go in?"

"Sure," Fate watched her child let go of her hand and run excitedly a few feet over to one of the open doors and look around. "She's really excited," The blond spoke lightly while keeping an eye on her.

"Mmn, She will be exhausted before lunch time."

"We can hope." Fate put her arm around Nanoha when she got close enough. "I think we're going to be exhausted as well at this rate. But as long as she's- Vivio!" Both parents darted forward to follow the girl as she went from one tiny house to another. "I swear, she's as bad as you!"

"Me!?" Nanoha stopped in front of the small building and watched Vivio run though it and play with the other kids. "I don't just vanish like...." She glanced at Fate, who was looking at her in a knowing maner. "Okay, maybe I do run off without saying anything..."

"Yup." Both parents followed Vivio again as she waved to them and pointed this time for permission. With a nod, they walked behind her, jogging every now and then, to keep up with her. "Maybe we should get one of those harness things..."

"I am not putting Vivio on a leash." Nanoha protested. "Though if you wanted one for later..." She wagged her eyebrows.

"Only if you consent to the ball gag?" Fate smirked back, getting a hot blush when the flirt was called. "Oh wow, I haven't said anything naughty in a long time!"

"Yeah when I bought that strap-"

"mama!"

"YES!?" Both quickly dropped the conversation and looked down at Vivio, who now had a balloon.

"Drink?" She inquired innocently.

"Here you are," Nanoha knelt down to let Vivio slurp what was left of the slushie. "Did you have fun?"

"Un!"

Fate looked at a map of the park. "We just barely made it past the intro stage of the park... I think there is an Egypt themed section ahead... If we go now we can go on a 'tour' of an old pyramid."

Nanoha grinned. "Too bad Yuuno isn't with us, he'd love that. What do you say, Vivio? Want to explore a pyramid!?" She made her voice sound really excited.

"Un! Un!" Vivio hopped in place. "I want to!"

"Come on!" Nanoha took one hand and allowed Fate to take the other. "Let's hurry!" Together they lifted up, taking Vivio's feet off the ground to allow her to laugh happily while they carried her the first few steps.

Spoiler for Part 4:

"Excited?" Nanoha pondered with an amused expression at Vivio as her arm was tugged on. Fate was talking to a few people around them as the small group waited for their turn to go inside the exhibit.

"Come onnnn," She whined out cutely, holding Nanoha's hand with both of hers and leaning backwards in an attempt to use her bodyweight to move her mother. "Gah!?" The world left Vivio's feet as an arm went around her waist. Before long she found herself balanced on Fate's hip. "Mamaaaaa!"

"Shh, Vivio, remember to not be as loud when inside?"

"Yes ma'am." She pouted and looked at the open doorway. "When can we go in?"

Nanoha bent over to talk to Vivio, unconsciously flashing the group of teens behind her. "Vivio Dear, you would want people to wait on you so you can have all the fun you want, right?"

"...Yes ma'am."

"So it's only right to wait for them as well, ne?"

Vivio tilted her head to think about it before nodded. "Un, I will wait."

"Good girl." Fate sat Vivio down and stood behind Nanoha, glaring at the group. Leaning over, she whispered into her wife's ear. "I swear..."

"Hush," Nanoha whispered back. "That one wasn't on purpose."

"the last one was!?"

Nanoha stuck out her tongue. "Maaaybe."

"Mama!" Vivio patted Nanoha's legs. "What you talking about?"

Nanoha grinned at Fate, daring her to explain it. "Well," Fate began before smiling. "Nanoha-mama said she would sing the nyan song for you for being such a good girl!"

"Fate-chan!?!?"

"Wai!" Vivio hopped in place. "Let's sing, mama!"

Fate crossed her arms, smiling. "Yes, Nanoha-mama. Sing?"

Not able to tell the excited mis-colored eyes no, Nanoha took a deep breath and swallowed her pride. "Ready Vivio?"

"Un!" Vivio put up her hands like cat paws. "nyan nyan, nyan nyan, ni hao nyan!"

Nanoha mimicked the motions, twirling around and throwing her arms out while singing with a large smile. "Goujasu derisasu dekaruchaaa~"

"Again!" Vivio started in once more, making Nanoha do the silly hand motions a second time while blushing. When the second twirl was over the group around them broke into a small collective applause for the dance.

"Great job!" Fate praised, clapping with everyone else. Her eyes laughed at Nanoha openly, making the other mother look away and try to not act embarrassed as Vivio started doing the song a third time.

As they were allowed into the mimic pyramid the happy family held hands together while occasionally lifting Vivio up to inspect something closer. The free-walking tour only lasted for half an hour before the child started losing interest and began spending less and less time at each thing that the two mothers actually wanted to inspect a little more.

"Vivio, stay in sight of us," Fate called while leaning over with her hands on her knees to read a summery of the object she was seeing on the display. Her tight blue jeans hugged her body, showing off her curves to the same group as Nanoha showed before. This time a wolf whistle came out, but was quickly snuffed out when Raising Heart formed in Nanoha's hand.

"Mine." She declared firmly, pointing at them. The teens quickly darted away from the crazy over protective mother.

"So," Fate went on as if this was nothing new to her. "Jealous much?"

Sniffing, Nanoha watched Vivio run around to different things. "No."

"Suuuuure." Fate smiled proudly, feeling flattered Nanoha was so protective of her... until she received a firm slap on the butt from the very same girl. "Nanoha!"

"I didn't do anything," She lied happily as Vivio ran over to them again and was holstered into the air. "Vivio! Ready to go?"

"Un!" She nodded happily. "Was Fate-mama a bad girl?"

"Eh!?" The blond's hair frizzed out.

"She got spanked," Vivio pointed out.

"Oh, yes," Nanoha agreed. "Fate-mama is a very very naughty girl."

Vivio pointed her finger at Fate and furrowed her eyebrows. "No!" She stated firmly. "Be a good girl, like Vivio!"

"Yes," Nanoha grinned brightly, enjoying her revenge for the nyan dance. "Be a ...good... girl."

Fate laughed nervously, not wanting to touch the conversation anymore. "Let's.... Go outside again."

Together the two and a half girls walked back into the sunlight and looked around where they were. "Fate-mama," Nanoha began lightly. "You have the map?"

"Sure do," Fate took it out and looked at it. Nanoha moved up to her side, smiling happily at the close contact with her. "We could-"

"That!" Vivio pointed dramatically out, almost hitting Fate in the process. The two mothers followed the finger to a large structor that held a few carts running along the tracks filled with screaming people. "Let's do that!"

Nanoha felt the blood drain form her face. "Um... I don't like... roller coasters."

Fate smiled brightly. "Let's go, Vivio!" She put her arms on Nanoha's shoulders and began pushing her wife along. "We can all ride in the front row!

"Fate-chaaaaaaaaan!"

Spoiler for Part 5:

Nanoha screamed bloody murder as the roller coaster flew around the tracks and made clinking sounds that she just knew were bolts unscrewing. Vivio was next to her, happily holding onto the safety rail and cheering. Fate was on the other side of the little one, also crying out happily. When the minute and a half long ride was finished the two blonds looked at each other and smiled while Nanoha slouched down, trying not to throw up.

"Congratulations!" The operator told them happily after spinning a wheel. "You have all won another ride without waiting!" Several people cheered, making Nanoha shoot bolt upright.

The ride started moving again and Vivio hopped in the seat happily. Fate took her hand again and lifted them in the air. The brown haired girl grasped the guard rail firmly, screaming out how life was unfair.

"Uguuuu..." Face down on the table, Nanoha allowed Fate to rub her back soothingly. "I'm going to be sick..."

"No you're not." The blond laughed, keeping an eye on Vivio who was ordering something a few feet away. "You can handle flying so you can handle this."

"It's different when you're bolted down and can't control it..." With a slow breath she sat up and calmed down. "I'm okay now..."

"Mama!" Vivio ran over to them holding a cold beverage in her hands.

"Vivio went to get you something to calm down with, "Fate explained happily as their daughter jogged. "Careful Vivio, don't-"

Fall.

Vivio landed face first, cushioning the landing with her hands but also making the drink cover her head completly. "Vivio," Nanoha knelt down and lifted her daughter up, Fate's influence becoming obvious. "Are you okay?"

"Mm..."

Fate started wiping the girl off. "Not hurt?"

Vivio shook her head. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be," Nanoha shook her head. "Hey, Vivio, what do you want to do now?"

"Another roller coaster!" She answered at once.

"Sounds fun!" Fate agreed instantly.

Nanoha sank back. "Why me...?" Looking around, she pointed. "I'm going to go shopping, so you two behave alright?"

"You behave," Fate countered playfully. "We'll be back soon, meet here in half an hour?"

"Okay," Nanoha shouldered her purse and gave Fate a quick kiss on the cheek. "Call me if you can't find me."

"Right," lending down Fate scooped up Vivio. "Come on ,Vivio! Let's go ride another!" Her neck was hugged happily.

Spoiler for Part 6 (new):

Fate grinned to herself as Vivio dragged her around the small shopping area while they both looked for Nanoha. In all actuality, Fate was looking for Nanoha while Vivio tried to go into each store that she saw. After a few moments they spied a small crowd of teenage males talking to themselves while looking and pointing at a small store that sold swim suits. A feeling of dread passed through the blonde's stomach and the two went to the small store that was more of a hut to block the sun for the people shopping. A changing room door opened and the boys all applauded as Nanoha stepped out, clad in a very form-fitting two piece bikini that could also double as dental floss. "Nanoha!"

"Fate-chan!" Nanoha hopped, and bounced wildly, over to her girlfriend. "What do you think?" She spun around energetically. "We should go to the water park section of the park so Vivio can stay cool during the hot hours of the day."

"Y-yeah, but..." She looked down at the hot neon pink material that covered Nanoha's vital parts with small triangles. "That swimsuit..."

"Oh come on, it's not that bad!"

"NO!" Both parents instantly countered loudly, making Vivio jump lightly where she stood and look up in fear that she had done something wrong.

"Ah, don't worry, Vivio." Nanoha bent over, getting wolf whistles from the group of boys right before they suddenly reeled back from a shock of lightning. "This is an adult's swimsuit. Vivio is too cute, so she needs to wear a one piece with lots of pretty little frills okay?"

"Okay," Vivio agreed at once, looking around for one to pick out.

"And for Fate-chan..." Nanoha covered her mouth and laughed very softly. "fu fu fu fu..." holding up one she had picked out earlier, she grinned at Fate's wide eyes.

"No." Fate hissed harshly, pushing the bikini away. "I don't get turned on showing my body, unlike you."

"But Fate-chaaaaaaan!" Nanoha pouted cutely. "It's not totally see through!"

"pervert!" Fate growled again, right before her eyes dropped against her will to see Nanoha's breasts jiggle from her constant hopping in place.

"Is the pot calling the kettle black?" Nanoha cooed out, bumping Fate's hips with her own. "Come on, we're on vacation, let's go wild!"

Fate blushed darkly and looked at the bikini again. "Well... if you really want me to-"

"YES!" Nanoha pumped her fist up in the air.

"Mama, mama!" Vivio ran back to the girls and held up a black and pink one piece. "Can I get this one? Hurry, hurry, they have mermaids out by the pool!"

I should get down to writing a NanoVita story sometime these days. Something that starts with Nanoha's accident. But the heat is draining, and I'm going to a LARP tomorrow anyway, meaning I'll be gone for four days.

I blame Satashii for my re-entry into fanfiction writing after avoiding it for about eight years. It's really been good for my original work, because it lets me keep writing even when I'm blocked on something, and there's a framework already in existence that I can just adjust to my liking.

I've been spending so much time on Nena's story, but at the same time my original novel has also been getting much more attention than it had been before I picked fanfiction back up again. I suppose it does bear mentioning that I'm not playing MMORPGs anymore either.

On the same note, writing Shana fics has really made me like writing again. I'm even interested in Nanoha more than I have been lately. I think I was just burnt out (again). Weird thing is, I still don't like the anime of Nanoha at all really. I don't have a burning desire to watch the movie, I have zero desire to read Force, and even Vivid is dying off....

But I still get excited when writing little shorts and the like. I think my problem is that I fell in love with "my versions" of the characters and the series to me is now "I could do this better..." so it isn't as enjoyable.

Which is weird 'cause I rarely ever hear people say "your characterization isn't right" anymore. Did I get better or are you people just used to my characters now? Excluding shorts, of course. Pervy!Nanoha is pervy.
