My view on that scene...

Saki was willing to bear the brunt of Haruto's condition/hunger. But she probably thought it would mean being bit, vampire-style. She probably didn't think it would involve sex. Nonetheless, she did say that she would bear the brunt of Haruto's condition/hunger, and that happened to involve sex, so she's not angry with Haruto about it.

So the act is in this weird area where it's kind of like rape, but kind of not. It's probably most accurate to say that Haruto's curse raped them both.

This enables the narrative to put Saki in this unusual position where she's likely going to be traumatized like a rape victim would be, but she has no rapist to vent anger towards. Haruto himself will likely feel somewhat violated, and ashamed. The best real life comparison for him would be a guy heavily under the influence of alcohol having sex with a girl that he was friends with, but not romantically interested in.

It seems likely that this is the case.

Hey, Sunrise doesn't keep secrets for very long. The fact of the matter is you really can't. People forget. Although what was said was somewhat casual, so it's still possible that this isn't the case. For now though, I choose to assume this is the case.

Considering Saki and Haruto are almost certain to continue to be friends (if not more so now) it seems very likely that she would hold on to that promise in the event that they're separated.

All things considered, I think it's very wrong to apply real-world rape dynamics to this situation. This isn't even close to real life, and not just because this is space vampires. It's Sunrise.

Well, I'm glad a large portion of the fanbase seems to agree that Haruto is a shit character.
I feel like he is as someone mentioned, being set up as an enemy. L-Elf makes the better protagonist anyway. He's more central to the plot as well.

Regardless of the circumstances, it was rape. He may not have been in full control but he will remember it and ultimately he gave up his humanity by choice so fuck him. He just NTR'd Shoko and I hope he at least has the manliness to stay the hell away from her for her own good.

What a huge difference in reaction when it comes to rape as compared to other crimes. Makes it sound as if other crimes such as torture or murder is any better.

This episode is too painful to watch considering all the potential and already inflicted pain and suffering on Saki, Haruto and Shoko from just one night. I feel as if everything in Valvrave just turned upside down and things are heading for the worse. The results of the election and the students' reactions only served to reinforce my belief that they are all heading towards one big bad end.

Usually an episode that manages to create so much emotional turmoil is a plus, but valvrave took it too far with it and I failed to enjoy this episode as a result. Hopefully I recover myself in time for the finale....

It's creepy how happy VVV-tan was during the rape. She probably doesn't really realize what she's done.

The students proved how dumb they are once again. Satomi had a solid plan to provide them with more comfort in the long term but they voted for the girl whose only idea was to have a school festival... that's cool, what happens afterwards? I hope this decision will bite them in the ass, hard.

He will become the new Fuhrer of Dorssia. He'll be the main villain of the second half of the series.

That's the kind of twist I could see VVV go for.

Somehow i 've came to dislike her because what she did caused and will cause much sufferings to our main trio. Hopefully she did it out of curiosity and not because she's a sadist.

I never knew NTR could be applied to men as well... regardless, it wasn't really his fault. It was no one's fault except for the AI.

Speaking of the AI, I don't know what to say about it.... Black comedy was it?

I'm guessing she doesn't understand that sex shouldn't be done in such a way and if she can learn she may eventually learn of all the bad things she has done and have a true BSOD over it which may get people killed as it will obviously, as this is anime, occur at the worst possible time.

I don't think Haruto is a 'fantastic' main character, and he may be a bit annoying from time to time due to his good natured personality, but geez, it's not like we're talking about a guy who went to a bar, drank like mad and then drugged himself out of his own free will.

The kid's given up his own humanity 'by choice' (trying to protect people), but he's been dealing with it for months at the end now and protecting the people from Module 77. He can't control his urges, and he's not a /bad person/, so chances are this whole incident will be, if not as much, also pretty damn traumatizing for him once he realizes what happened.

On Takumi sensei and L-Elf dang those are fast friends. Last we saw L-Elf is pointing a gun. So as far Takumi knows the Valvraves are JIORs trump card as JIOR chose not to have a big military to stay neutral. Now I find that ridiculous as Switzerland has the arms and army to enforce their neutrality. Plus JIOR has South East Asia, East Asia, and Central Asia as member regions which is why I find it hard to believe they'll just give up their militaries.
The students unknown to themselves are all modified by the program.

L-Elf moderates the election and the campaigns cause he is so... unbiased and can't vote himself. (The last guy I'd trust really)

On Thunder he likes the idea of being a dark hero. Which is probably why he is a delinquent yet a guy who protects his friends. He views himself as the school protector.

Oh goodness with the Magius mostly a boys club Thunder makes Haruto and Kyuuma offering his stuff. Which could be porn as Saki is excluded.

Thunder tries to be president. The others are fine with it.

On Rion she is the only civilian and she doesn't know about the Valvraves. She is their as a trainee teacher to maintain the school's cover.

Rion doesn't want to be New JIOR's representative without everybody's say so she called for an election.

On Takahi she still isn't over Saki pulling that prank with Haruto's body. From her perspective Haruto just flirted then nothing. Now she thinks Haruto tried to sexually harass her but Saki stopped Haruto's rampage. Now she is confused does she not put the guy in his place or does she want him to ravish her?

On Marie she is such a good friend. With kicking Haruto towards initiative and saving an application for Shoko.

On Satomi poor guy is just a looser.

On Shoko the poor girl doesn't know if her dad is alive or dead. She doesn't want this election as to her that would make him dead. With various encouragements including Haruto who she loves she joins the elections and wins by popularity as she knows everybody at school. Oh that school festival she wants? Cain wants to ruin it himself.

On the Space Nazi side Kriem and one of the boys are suspicious of Cain.

Finally on Haruto and Saki also VVV-tan.

With his urges becoming more frequent there are few people he can trust to stop him. Saki promises she'll kill him if he becomes a monster.

When she saw Haruto and Shoko getting closer she is jealous. For a while she likes Haruto and that isn't a lie. Also she tries to reason out to Haruto that having a relationship with a mortal like Shoko will likely hurt them both.

Then it happened. As a result of being denied again and again of biting people VVV-tan went a little bit horny. This manifested in Haruto. Note Haruto isn't himself but under the influence of VVV-tan.

Possessed Haruto rapes Saki. This possibly the worst that can happen to Saki. The guy she likes rapes her. Saki accepts being used by Haruto because she blames herself. When she pushed that button in resigning her humanity she didn't think of the drawbacks. Now she thinks she knows the Price for immortality. She is the only female among the immortal pilots. She thinks the Curse for her is to become the bitch of Haruto's urges. Cause unlike the other incidences Possessed Haruto doesn't want to Jack her but mate with her.

When Haruto wakes he sees Saki's ravaged form. Now he'll really think he is a monster. As can't control himself.

Cain calls the Valvrave or maybe specifically VVV-tan as the bride that will bring back their race.

Does that mean she wants the Magius to reproduce one way (injected with Runes) or another? (Get the Magius to make out and produce babies.)

If Haruto can control his vampire-mode while piloting valvrave 1, do you think it possible that it will be the Seed-Mode of this series? Haruto's eye color change and that big hint that it will be.

I guess there's not really much else to add other than if Saki didn't interrupt Haruto and Takahi with a swift kick to the gut that snapped him out of his possession, I think it would have been Takahi that would have been raped instead of Saki. Takahi did seem to want his attention.

Now I'm not sure if I actually want that Bandai model of Valvrave Hito. That mecha just became rather creepy.
