The same can be said of Veyron, he wasn't that injured by Subaru's attack either. Less, even, considering Arnage was actually bleeding.
But back to the topic, my main point was that the Nanohaverse isn't as biologically screwed as Iromaru suggests. We're just getting a warped view of the universe (for obvious reasons, most of which are more in line with Raiser's idea). |

Veyron is the weakest member of the Huckebein(save for Stella, probably) by virtue of using a borrowed Divider and not having a reactor. He fighting off the Assault team only with his basic Eclipse power is testament of how effective and terrifying this goys are, even the weakest of them can kick your ass. Karen is referred as the leader of the Huckebein Family, Fortis probably is the second in command.
But this is a ViVid thread xDU. Back on topic i also think the Nanohaverse have also more talented male mages, but still is pretty much showed that the ratio is more favorable to the female gender. The high tier is compossed mainly by womans, there are guys too but the most powerfull characters are womans most of the time(Precia for example). Still, it will be cool to see another boy who manage to kick overpowered asses by using his skills and preparation Chrono-style. The Tournament Arc is still in the peginning phase so, while improbable, there's still time. Probably Erio engages in a "DesignatedBoyFight" xD?

Yes, and Arnage got hit twice. Thrice if you count Touma's Macross Missile Massacre.
Heck, the fact that he's able to fight on the same level as the rest of the Hucks without a reactor actually marks him as one of the stronger members rather than the weakest. But yes, back to topic we're going to see that a lot now that the threads have been split, won't we? *sigh*, we've seen more high-powered girls then we have guys. This I don't doubt. My only point was that it isn't some biological 'women are superior magic users' thing, but rather that we've just seen more girls then guys. |

And no in-story reason is given for that, it works in past seasons where interaction with the verse wasn't that deep, but here is starting to get suspicious, how an open tournament for talented mages with no gender restriction have only girls? The main cast is that luicky of not encountering a singly guy during the competition?

Might make it easier to know what we're talking about, to an extent, but... *points to the above posts* I honestly thought I was in the Force thread for awhile when posting here.

Granny admiral (who's also the leader of TSAB at the moment) is officially the strongest of them. To the point she was called a "powerful demon". Other two aren't even mentioned as being mages. Regius wasn't a mage. We have no idea about the high council. It's possible they were just politicians, not mages like Regius. And we never saw their bodies. Cypha is officially the best at close combat. Quote:
Her divider is a ship Huckebeins took their name from. And as Hayate said the main reason why they are considered unbeatable. Quote:
Overall, when it comes to politics or leadership positions in general it appears to be split even between both genders. But when it comes to magic almost all elites are female while almost all generic cannon fodder is male. But yeah this is kind of off-topic here. I was just trying to say that Vivid's tournament being so female dominated is nothing new in the series. Edit: Spoiler for Better picture of the new girl:
