Was I the only one left at the end of the series who still like Yuno more than Mio? Mio is fine and dandy but I definitely think Yuno deserves that relationship with Tarou way more and is a better girl over all.

Oh well. This series had the potential to be so much more but I always knew it was never gonna take itself series so I am not really disappointed. I just wish they had actually handled the mature subjects it touched with the sincerity such topics deserve all the way through instead of opting for comic reliefs to end every single one of them >.>

No, you definitely are not the only one. It is just Mio fans had more to say at the end, usually trying to prove positive points about her that the anime left out. The anime did a really good job with Yuuno, more or less, except for whenever Mio tried to undercut her.

Yuno's following is just as large as Mio's, as far as this forum seems to show.

It's not about who deserves more. It's who will Tarou pick in the end. To my point of view, Mio deserves more, but of course I know about Yuno's trauma and all. It's just Mio has this mystery that everytime think I want to hug her, especially in the last episode.

Hehe, I have to agree, as I prefer a Mio ending for it, but Yuuno is fine too and it should come down to his choice

Probably because Yuuno got to them early when they went with her first. Or atleast from one of the people who loved Yuuno that I read from. But I do love Mio as well, Yuuno has some good traits about her as well.

What really sucks, personally, about Matsuno-san's passing is that we'll never get to see Matsuno-san's version of MM!'s conclusion and how Matsuno-san intended for the series to end.

There can still be a second season, being that there's plenty of source material that hasn't been adapted yet. There hasn't been any information regarding the cause of death; I'm also wondering just how he died... he was 32, so he was young and could have gone to write many more series past this one.

Such saddening news. Maybe MM wasn't the best series I've ever watched, but I enjoyed it enough to laugh really hard from time to time. Rest in peace Mr. Akinari Matsuno...

No, news from MF didn't mention it
We only know it is not from prolonged illness but from sudden event (accident or acute disease)
