Description of section 2 gifs Example request format Hello everybody! I've made this thread as I'm getting jaded of visiting all the series I like to find if someone wants a gif. Therefore, if there is someone asking for one which fits into one of the three sections, feel free to redirect them here. Active means I will work on it as soon as I can, crawling means it will take a whole lot longer (because I want to do other things) and dead means I won't do anything. This thread is only for gifs!  Current status: Dead If you don't want me to fulfil a request by you that you left in the open, you can post here or send me a message that you would rather have somebody else do it. If sometime in the future you think I've improved enough to do your request, you can still ask me and I'll do it so you don't have to worry about repercussions. Section 1: Quick jobs and new gifs. Quick jobs: If you have a gif that just needs cropping/scaling, adding a border or cutting out frames it belongs here. If using an online compressor is not enough to bring the file size down (if any limits exist) without a huge loss in quality, I will just post it at maximum quality for you to see. This applies for all gifs. New gifs: If you would like a newly created gif from an anime, whether I have to loop it or not, it belongs here. Text without special effects can be added. However, I there are some things I will not do and they are in the spoiler below. They apply to all section(s) below this as well. Spoiler for What I will not do:
Section 2: Special gifs. These gifs have special text, border, transitions etc so they require me to use more than one program and spend a lot more time on them, so I will only do it for certain characters; if they are shipped with a character I approve of I will accept it as well. If a render is provided and you just want section 1 gif(s) to complete it, the request becomes section 1 instead of section 2. Spoiler for Characters that fit into this section:

I'll post in this thread whenever I fulfil a request, answer a question, change status from dead to active or a month has passed and there aren't any new posts and upload all new section 3 gifs. If nothing was made, there will be no post. Though unlikely, I may turn down a request even if it fits everything specified above (e.g. I don't know how to do it like redrawing or the effort is too much like rendering twenty colourful frames for one gif).  Regarding update posts, image links will be provided instead of posting the actual image to reduce loading times. 19/11/2013 Thank you Moderators for changing the thread title! 20/12/2013 Changed my username from darkhalo191 to Auxilism so that person is still me. 22/8/2014 Revamped the sections; basically sections 1 and 2 have combined and now I will do those requests for any anime. Section 3 is now called section 2 but it still has the same requirements. A main reason for this is there were no new anime that were really appealing to me so there was nothing for me to do. 11/10/2014 Each person can only request for 5 gifs a month. If you exceed that or there is a time zone difference I will send you a private message for some information. 3/9/2016 I'm back to making gifs but my schedule is prone to changes due to being in the military so I'll leave the status as crawling. Imageshack closed free accounts or something (I got an email but I deleted it) so a lot of gifs are gone. I could upload what I saved but they've been here for long and nobody took them so I didn't bother.

Made a new free section 3 gif: http://imageshack.us/a/img191/7997/to4.gif Added new series to section 2: Kiniro Mosaic I will now accept requests for gifs that cannot be used here as long as they still qualify for a section. However, they must be sent via visitor or private messages. Okay, I'm out of ideas for new section 3 gifs and there aren't any requests here. Is my scope too small, opening post too wordy, advertising not blatant enough or do my gifs just come out badly? If it's the last option and you have a very specific way that you want it to be animated, I'm willing to read a long post (even if it's as long as my opening) so don't be shy.

Thank you for the compliment, especially coming from someone who has done three-dimensional rotation and is likely to be drawing from scratch his/her own animation frames. I would have replied sooner but I wanted to put it with a post where I answer a question/fulfil a request/do the monthly update. However, this time I have a request for the Moderators. I would like to change the thread title to 'Taking requests - Cache of gifs' without the apostrophes; I would like to be clearer on why I made the thread. Edit: Thank you!

You can ask for a section 2 gif though, she is part of Madoka Magica. There are some times where even I don't know if I'm doing section 2 or 3 so as long as it's not too complicated or requires too much effort (includes but not limited to rendering) there's a chance it can qualify for section 2 although it looks like a section 3 gif. I wanted something like this, however I couldn't find a pic appropriate to fit it like her looking to the left, well I did, but it would need some redrawing to fit in really. I had someone help me with it on another forum and how to make it, so if I find that pic, I will try it myself, but pics of Homucifer's are rare compared to the normal one.
I already have the gif in my sig made.

I saw the signature, logged in and it was edited away already. I just wanted to say that there were way too many frames to fit a 600x160 100kb limit (even most 400x160 pngs are bigger than 100kb) so it would have been impossible for me anyway.

There aren't any new series that are motivating me to make gifs of them or Sakura Trick just raised my bar too high.

Umm... did you read my opening post on what kind of requests I take (section 1, 2 and 3)?
If you just wanted a gif straight from a video why not post in the Anime Avatar Request Thread? I get that it's not anime but people have done gifs from other sources as well. I may get it out faster but that's if it qualifies for any of my sections.
