In either case I think we can all agree Lee is not all ok like we thought he is in the last chapter ... I actually wanted to see the end of the Shika fight ...
Also could Kishimoto throw in a freaken clue to what happend the other genins like Neji, Chouji and Kiba? This is getting quite annoying. He's not finishing one thing and keeps throwing characters in there. It's this huge unfinished mess now. |

Nobody's mentioned that Gemma and Raidou are alive and in the hospital.
Oh, and it seems obvious to me that he did have the surgery, left to make sure that Naruto's promise would come true for Sakura and that whatever he drank is a medicine to remove pain, but has the side effects of well...being drunk. We'll see |

It is Lee doing this after all. There was a cover where Gai offered to teach the drunken style to Lee, but he refused. That of course was just one of those usual possible sketches. I'm guessing Lee's hammered on Osake. |

I don't know that much Japanese, but I can at least confirm that it was a bottle of sake.
Edit: reading more closely Tsunade says Lee took her "sakebin", from which Gai repeated sake, so it's possible that sakebin is just some medical equipment with alcohol in it. |

As I said, possibly. Since I don't know what sakebin means, but the sake part means alcohol and Tsunade referes to it as hers. Doesn't seem very apropriate of her to keep sake around in a hospital.
Edit: ok just looked it up. The bin part just means bottle. So I guess it's sake after all. |

Anime purist here, jumping straight from Ep 76 of the anime to Chp 210 of the manga. And all this just cause Lee's back.
Anyway after reading a rough translation, Lee's took the surgery and is A-ok. Except he skipped rehabilitation and took his medicine bottle along with him. Problem is he mistook Tsunade's sake bottle for his medicine. Gai tells the folks around him "A drunk Lee is a very dangerous". Lee drinks the sake during his fight and does a Dr.Jekyl - Mr.Hyde transformation. Going from polite to assholic rude. I wish I could read what should be a very funny chp 211, but I've found out Lee's alright for the most part, so no more manga for me. Edit: Quote:
