Summer trip..
Fun on the beach, kinda nostalgic since it's winter now ^^
Glasses girl erotic visions were totally ROFL
Yozora's swimsuit sure made her look like a sadistic mime.
That girl has some serious issues.
Poor Kodaka always at the receiving end of Yozora's wrath.
Ghost stories were pretty interesting though.
Bathroom all night walks were LOL

It really wouldn't make too much sense for the children of two best friends to have never met, but they were probably very young and can easily have forgotten ever meeting over the years. Kodaka barely remembered having met Yozora (boy) until events jogged his memory into shape.

I laughed at the bathroom scenes, when Maria panicked because Kodaka fell asleep for a second, and Rika who just wanted to sleep with him. She sure is persistent. xP

Unfortunately for me it's hard to feel that is much significace since the story has been hinting at the Yozora end since the beggining, even if it does end inconclusively. This episode was no exception in that regard, either, since in end it was Yozora that shared a romantic sunset with Kodaka.

My biggest fear is that the story will try Ship Sinking by forcing Senna to do something unforgivably stupid/wrong or give her unneccesarily creepy/unfavourable character traits (Like Senna actually being a masochist for Yozora for example). If they ruin her character for the sole purpose of making the main pairing more favourable, I will seriously be pissed.

Didn't this episode sorta already point that out? Sena actually seeks attention from Yozora, as much as she would loathe to admit it.

As much as I'm rooting for Yozora though, imo, the anime itself has hinted Sena more and taken out some Yozora moments. As for the ending, I think it'll just be open-ended, with room for a sequel (hopefully).

That's very unlikely. Sena is not so dumb to ruin her good relationship with Kodaka. And also the behaviour of Yozora will backfire more and more in the future while Sena becomes more confident because she'll learn how to handle her! To show Yozora her limits is exactly what she really needs. Kodaka is not able to scold her because he is so passive towards others but Sena should be able to do this.

Seeking attention and being a masochist are two entirely different things altogether. I'm already aware that Senna seeks Yozora's friednship and I find that trait endearing. But does Senna really like Yozora treating her like crap? I couldn't help but feel that Yozora's assertions that Senna liked being treated like that had an unfortunate tinge of exposition to it. It was great that Senna fought back but I'm still worried.

It might be the way it is presented, in other words when Sena interacts with Yozora (on screen, so to say), it is provocation -> punishment -> denial. Now considering that they spend everyday in the clubroom together for a month or two, but these are the only incidents, I will agree with LC, it is intentional from both! What I am not certain is the motive, does Yozora really hate Sena's guts, because she obviously treats her differently than anyone else or she also fell victim to her looks; as well as, is Sena provoking Yozora because of her antagonistic personality, that I find even less likely than being a closet lesbian masochists for the simple reason that she is not provoking anyone else.

In any case, they are already a couple, just too young or rather inexperienced to take it to the next level

Yeah, i'm still not convinced that there's much provocation from Senna (and this episode is pretty much the best example there), and I think the reason Yozora trolls Senna is simply because she's the easiest to mess with since she has the easiest and most obvious insecurities. She does troll Maria when she gets the chance and I suppose Yukimura to a degree. I don't think she even dares to try and troll Rika because we all know how that would turn out. There might be a bit of jealousy involved but I think there's any more ulterior motive than that.

Harem members #1-3, and #5 wanted to go the bathroom.
Kodaka used the "Harem Repellent" on could be #4.

The sunscreen scene was definitely some major S&M play while I laughed at the beginning when I saw some Yukimura shirts. I'm sure a good amount of people in the world would get it.

Yozora's insecurities come off in her methods of attacking people as would be expected as humans tend to hide their insecurities/worries by deflecting their own short comings on to others either through words or actions. Sena simply offers Yozora something that she cannot stand, effectively being the personification of everything that Yozora is not, and is a perfect target for attack from the latter's point of view. I do not think that Sena actively goads these actions deliberately, I really do think that she's trying to be Yozora's friend, but it is simply by her nature of being haughty, provocative that she hits all the wrong buttons on Yozora. Its easier to blame Yozora but its simply that her short comings are just painfully exemplified by Sena, that all of Yozora's character flaws cannot help but surface. (In then attacking Sena, we have two results, either an attack back from Sena or... well, the next paragraph.)

The biggest issue, though, is Kodaka. And, for Yozora, her actions constantly push Sena to Kodaka (the reverse is still vague, but the anime has been pushing a lot more of Sena's emotions than Yozora's. Sena has also been trying to actively draw Kodaka to herself) and effectively make everything worse for Yozora. It's akin to digging your own grave and, while its easy to call Yozora a bitch, it's truly just a pitiable circle of self-destruction.

As for relationships... I don't know. Shipping hurts my head.

This episode it was an invitation, rather than a provocation

You answered yourself, with Maria and Yukimura is way too easy, while there is a certain attraction with Sena... definitely not of the kind that is commonly perceived as healthy

Has she even tried? For all we know Rika might have read a yuri manga and then sexually assaulted Yozora

The only ones she really never ever trolled are the Hasegawa siblings, despite both presenting her with excellent opportunities

I am not sure either, but I sense there is more going on between them than fighting over Kodaka's affection.

Indeed. But does she realize the consequences of her constant abusing?

She can always go back to her air-friend. Though I hope that Kodaka and Sena can cure her.

Yozora is sexually aroused if she teases her, isn't she...? She is sexually attracted to Sena and lives out her own dirty fantasies on her. She is BI!

Great episode this week

Rika's perversion was truly of epic proportions

Yozora's trolling this time isn't that nasty. There's only her fugly "swimsuit", and there's her oiling Sena's back with her foot... which could rather be viewed as some perverted S&M game.
Yozora's attempt to rile Sena backfires as usual, and Kodaka once more gets an eyeful of Sena's meat
How often still will he have to pretend to not have seen anything?

Finally, Yozora tells a ghost story to scare everyone, but this also backfires as she becomes scared herself. I think she was genuinely scared, just like the other girls, she was just too shy to ask Kodaka to accompany her to the toilet, so she just waited on the floor.

Spoiler for saving space:
About Kobato's oppai wonder in that one scene: it seems they used a double (with larger oppai) because Kobato had an upset stomach from the curry the day before, and she joined again when she was feeling better.

Previous episode was superior, but nonetheless, it is still an enjoyable episode. Now I can see why this anime got it own section so fast than other animes in this season. Rikia's pervertness is unmatchable. I can't remember any anime girls actually get turn on just by watching the metal hunks.

Sena knew what she is talking about. She is indeed a goddess. Lucky Kodaka. The bathroom scenes are somewhat hilarious in my opinion.

As for Sena and Yozora, they should be honest to each other. Stop teasing each other. Just "do" it. I don't mind yuri...LOL

I wonder, if Kodaka wants to marry both of them, will both of them willingly co-exist with each other?

I always gigled at the fact they consider themsleves "abnormal" and fail at things that "normal" people do.

Escorting girl to toilet never been that romantic. Mirana pulled out her cutesy voice - me likes!

I think that's pretty much fact. Yozora is undoubtedly a sadist, and this episode showed that she was uncontrollably (sexually) aroused by Sena. After all, Sena was Yozora's major object of attention, and training the proud Sena to be submissive to her sadist tendency seemed to be Yozora's ultimate prize.

The SM training surely has been paying off, with Sena (and her simple mind) have been more than one occasion coming real close to submit herself to Yozara's plot (for eg, ep 6 with Karaoke's plot, she fought it off in the end through). Can't wait for the moment Sena succumb to Yozara's evil sadism

I don't think Kodoka can satisfy Yozara's sadistic tendency anytime soon. So any romantic ending won't change this relationship between Yozara and Sena
