LOL, that would be quite funny indeed.

Though her ability is probably something more mundane - like using her medical knowledge to hit her opponents at their weak spots. That seems to be the way to go with medical specialist (coughtsunadecough).

Ishida actually owes nothing, he after all DID NOT kill Mayuri (he was thanked for it, but if he had killed him he probably would have died of poison...)

Wow, this fight won't ends well with the fans. If Hitsugaya wins, everyone'll be pissed and some even mad at the Hirsu fangirls for making Kubo do it. If Halibel wins, the Hitsu fangirls will be pissed.

Hitsugaya needs to be schooled by Halibel, beaten around mercilessly and bent to her will, humiliated as a man by her power, subdued and broken in front of his peers, whipped till he screams and begs for her to stop, made to worship her body on his hands and knees.

I don't see how that's even applicable, since Komamura had the balls to fight Kenpachi the first time, not to mention he came to save his lieutenant rather than pick a fight with the faccion.

Unless you honestly believe Ukitake's lieutenant's are captain-class. If that's the case, then I'll eat my words and from now on call her "Soi Fong the couragous" for having the daring to intercept fearsome opponents.

That is pretty true. I think Soi Fon is fairly cool but she does tend to pick on weaker people. Honestly, the only time she fought a powerful opponent - she was pwned! (Yoruichi)

Why couldn't we have Yoruichi (or Unohana) vs Halibel!!!!! WHY?????????????!!!!!!!

I guess something along the line of one of these three things now happens:

a) The top 3 espada turn out to be VL's and mercilessly pwn everyone.
b) The top 3 espadas turn out to be normal arrancar and crush our hopes for uber strong enemies that we need in the show (aside from Aizen).
c) The fights take forever and no one wins or loses. Basically setting the real fights up for a later time with better matchups (except for Shunsui vs Stark).

I am kind of hoping for a twist if something like b) happens. Like the top 3 espada lose or struggle, then the vaizards show up to help THEM out! Now that would be a cool twist with the vaizards helping Aizen out. Then Urahara and Yoruichi could show up and pwn the vaizards!!!! Just think, an Urahara vs Shinji matchup would be hella awesome! Yeah, well that won't happen but I just hope it isn't completely predictable and KT shakes things up a little somehow.
