I hope I can learn Japanese just to read the light novel....

you don't have to learn Japanese, so far CE already translated the LN until volume 3

This thread have become very empty.......well the translations are up to vol 4. I haven't gotten started reading it yet, but have read the manga, very interesting. I wonder if Mafuyu and her mother resolved their issues?

Interestingly enough, chapter 5 of the Komori Quintet! manga appears to confirm that the series is set after Sayonara Piano Sonata.
