Even the "first girl" quetion is subjetive.

Well... first girl to be properly introduced to Touma (before memory-loss) is probably Fukiyose due to being in the same class and all, but point taken.

Still, just by Mikoto having more (romantic ones, not fanservice ones) scenes than any other girl with Touma to me practically means she will be the one in the end getting Touma, if he doesn't die at the end of the series or something.

Something that doesn't seem so far-fetched yet is close to a "crack" considering the very, very little interaction they have (and that her rescue involves her beloved Onee-sama in the act, not just Touma).

IMO, crack pairings with Touma would be with:

- Rimea.
- Vilian <--- If William stops to be so dense there are chances of him getting the princess.
- Tokiwadai Dorm Supervisor.

Well, when I said "crack"... .... thinking back of it, I guess everyone knows Touma had met with Kuroko at least once. Be it the novel readers, those who lurk here reading every single spoiler they could (I admit to being one), or those who just got initiated into following this series. Maybe just an exaggeration on my part, sorry >_<

that's what I thought before too, but there's the 体を張ったんじゃない, and translating it into those doesn't connect well with the next few sentence and the nuance within the scene(he fight hard so he can complaint that he's beat up and there's no reason to fight alone? That doesn't look like Kamijyou that we all know right? XD) so I edited my post and change the translation XD.

Anyway, am I right about that there's some mistranslation that completely change the whole sentence meaning?

Here's another example :

だからこそ、少年は記憶をなくした事実を隠す。|誰《だれ》かのせいだと、動かなければこんな事にはならなかったと、そんなつまらない|台詞《せりふ》を口に出して誰かを傷つけさせないために。

is translated into :

That conclusion is the real foundation that Kamijou Touma holds. Because of that, the boy hid the fact of his memory loss. That someone was at fault, if he hadn't moved it wouldn't have come to this, saying something boring like that to keep someone from getting hurt.

Isn't the bolded part is supposed to be translated into :

So that no one's gonna hurt somebody else by saying something trifling like that it's someone's fault, that if he hasn't acted he wouldn't become like now.

Reading the original translation I get a feeling that Touma hid his memory loss so that saying "That someone was at fault, if he hadn't moved it wouldn't have come to this" will keep someone from getting hurt, while from my understanding of the original japanese sentence, he thinks that saying "That someone was at fault, if he hadn't moved it wouldn't have come to this" will hurt somebody instead.

about the romantic issue, i think if take notice that touma is archetyped mostly like a visual novel/love comedy main character,he will just end with index, after all the most common development in japanmedia is "boy meets girl".
