but touma pretty much ignored a lot of things and people, in order to save index, he even stated she is his top priority, and okay i dont think were gonna get romance, but at least toumas feelings have almost been stated, he only need to put them into words, and this will probably stay that way to not anger mikoto's fanbase, but i consider this will have some relevance later on.

Yes, but that's in line with Touma's personality: Thinking only what's in front of him and nothing else. He himself recognizes this trait in the last pages of NT Volume 3. Also, I'm pretty sure Kamachi doesn't care about receiving the anger of the Mikoto face base: he seems pretty beyond the pettiness that some people engage in.

Touma's feelings for Index is pretty much the same as Accelerator's feelings for Last Orders, which is to say not romantic but the closest thing to family.

As for Mikoto, I'm really really not worried at all. Kamachi comes off as rather bias in favor of her even before the success of Railgun, none of the other romance interest ever came close to her level of exposure.

And as I've said before, who Touma ends up with really isn't the main story of Index, unless the Ultimate Magic is the power of Love (lol Shana).

Nahh. In this kind of genre the MC usually ends with the girl which he finds a mental support on and needs of him the most. In this series, Index. But, shhh, don't say it loud or else we'll have inner fighting in the fanbase.

I guess you forgot, but Index did outright confess at the end of the first novel.

Now that we're 4 volumes in to New Testament, has anybody given some thoughts on the VAs for the new characters (assuming JC staff continues) ?

Im guessing we all are on the same page when it comes to who should voice the American President

Any suggestions for Kuroyoru, Birdway, Saronia, Marian, Enshuu and Maria? Just for the records, Im fully expecting Ao Yuki for Birdway, and Yukari for Marian.

Anyway I made that first post on my crappy 3G phone so I could check the VA's names, so once more, with feeling-

Kuroyoru - Taketatsu Ayana (Evil cat girl?)
Birdway - Aoi Yuki (Blond loli with 3 parts haughty and 1 part silly.)
Marian - Tamura Yukari (Blood-thirsty girl? Only one person to call.)
Othinus - Tange Sakura (One of the original mahou shoujo heh... You know, the Cardcaptor?)
Maria - Hikasa Youko (Tall, dark (hair) and bishoujo)

Also, the only VA in JC Staff's permanent roster that they haven't use yet is Horie Yui (Siesta, Minori, Alice etc), I'm super expecting her to voice Saiai.

I initially wanted Tetsuya KAKIHARA as Kakine, and not just because of name aesthetics

He has quite some experience voicing fierce, evilish characters.

But now I have a change of heart.

I want Yuuki Kaji to voice Kakine

Hell he was already voicing Southvalley from Shana which is well outside his norm but similar enough with Kakine so we know he can do the job. Don't forget that Accelerator's VA also started out as soft characters.
