Me - If they didn't say it was the Unreal engine I highly doubt you or anyone would know it was, so it's a moot point, and besides they've managed to animate 3d characters like a 2d fighting games, so obviously it worked out well for them. (I'm talking about this game!)
You - I think I notice it on games games MK9, Injustice, and DmC fine without anyone telling me, thank you. (You're talking about other games and getting butthurt because I told you can't recognize the Unreal Engine, completely missing the point)

I'm done.

And if takes a lot less time to make than a traditional 2d hd fighter, all the better, IIRC KOFXIII characters took 10 months to make.
Who's missing the point now?

It's not like I'm suddenly going to ignore this just because of Unreal Engine. Give me a break.

In the end, I'm going to buy it when it comes out, you're going to buy it when it comes out, and the only one whose day might be ruined is yours for taking the wrong part of an anonymous person's opinion on a discussion forum offensively.

I said it before, and I'll say it again in simpler terms: I recognize the Unreal Engine and don't necessarily like it. I'm still going to buy the game regardless.

you don't watch a lot of Mikado matches, do you?
If I'm not mistaken, ground Dust attacks are overheads. though Dust attacks are slow on start-up, there are ways to hit confirm you with it and forces you to either burst out or eat the heavy damage like using flashy mix-ups for example

The RingEdge boards commonly found in arcade cabinets are copyrighted by Sega. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

As posted on GAF.

I think it has to do with Sega's Arcade system. I heard it is using Sega's Ring Edge 2.
This is trailer for Arcade, not console.

I remember seeing Sega's logo in the credits for Melty Blood: Actress Again and asked the same question.

Regardless at least the game is on something, right? Hope to see or hear of news or videos on potential arcade locktest.

Only ever played GGXXAC+ considering BlazBlue was my initiation to Arc System Works, but it's looking like this game will finally be a good opportunity for me to truly break into the Guilty Gear franchise.

Very impressed they managed to make the 3D environment and character models look flat and drawn like they used to be.

And I was surprised Ky actually had a ponytail.

I'm looking forward to the new characters this game will have. Personally, I found some of the newest additions in Guilty Gear 2 awesome, like Dr. Paradigm and Sin (Ky's son).

If we're getting new characters, hopefully Valentine gets in.
