Super and AE 2012 are much more balanced than MVC2, 2nd Impact, 3rd Strike and CVS2 are. Every single member of the AE 2012 cast has made an appearance in a Top 8 in the last Evo "season", name another game that has done that with such a large cast.

The SF4 series is here to stay for a long time, folks. It's Capcom's main fighter this generation. Until the next main SF entry comes out, you'll be seeing a lot of SF4.

You know that may never happen although the SF canon is pretty botched up and fighting games aren't known for the well written storylines.

SFIV came out in the third year of the current gen, I would expect the same for SFV this upcoming gen, no point releasing it too early in a gen.

Speaking of rumors here some more for you to believe.

Akuma

• Akuma has increased recovery on jump back air Hadouken.
• Can not FADC Shoryuken on 2nd hit.
• Can no longer option select crouching Heavy Kick into Ultra 1.

Dhalsim

• Dhalsim damage increase (reverted back to Super Street Fighter 4 damage output).
• EX Yoga Blast does not produce hard knockdown.

C. Viper

• C. Viper's crouching Medium Kick has better hit box.
• Burn Kick has increased recovery.
• If hit during start up of Burn Kick, C. Viper is considered grounded and is open to full combo.

Akuma's sweep nerf would be unable to cancel into Raging Demon from sweep, not OS.

IF they're getting a Rival Schools character if they get Batsu he's shoto-clone with a different style and gameplay of delivering hadoukens,upers and tatsumaki. IF they're getting Akira she's more of a striker with stance that delivers different offensive attacks.

If it's Mike Hagar it's a Zangief clone with probably a similar moveset to MVC3 Hagar.

IF they're taking either DD and Rook from CFAS. DD's gonna have a similar moveset to Kazuya while Rook will be a more flashier Benimaru with Arial kicks.

Though the news said and hinted that this new character is SF related, but never appeared in a fighting game before. If there one it will be Ojou-san Gouken's(adopted) "daughter"

If it is indeed Ojou-san. She'll probably have similar moves to Gouken rather than Ryu and Ken.

Not unless they're going for an Ibuki clone. Sarai Ibuki's female ninja partner.
