Alcatraz called himself "Prophet" in THE end of crysis 2, THE war against the Ceph is not over, and the board of directors smells a chance to conquer THE world, "Prophet finds out and gonna stop this in Turok style!

. Things we do not know: Why in new York, what happend to humanity against THE Ceph 24 years ago? They said remnants so THE humans are winning? Will Prophet fight against other nanosuit soldiers like THE first game? What kind of new enemies do we expect and who is the agonist this time? Etc .

It still looks like Prophet/Alcatraz is still using the Nanosuit 2 though, and with good reason. I don't expect there'll be much changes to how the suit looks from Crysis 2.

I'm upset that they killed off Nomad just like that in the comic books and was only mentioned indirectly once in Crysis 2. I mean, being the original protagonist of the series, couldn't they at least tried to write him off in better ways?

With as much chatter as there is in the game, I'm kinda let down that the plot is so...meh in the 2nd game. Seriously annoying they killed off the PC from the first game like that.

that either Nomad or Psycho -or both- (that is, if we are to consider the Crysis comics as half- or non-canon) were already dead by the time the Ceph emerged in NY, having been "dead men walking" for a long time, until either their bodies finally gave out or attempts to remove the N1 suits failed quite tragically.

I am hoping the events of the comics eventually make it to Crysis III, just so those who only play the games get to see what happened.
