Mother Insect died in RMJI, like 2000 chapters into the novel since she's pretty much the strongest being there. I have no idea if Han Li also joined the extermination group (many people teamed up to kill her). She's so strong that Immortal Realm sent a very powerful expert to kill her, yet he couldn't (because someone stole an important treasure that was supposed to help him, the bottle of nine origins that Han Li current possesses), only to seal himself up alongside her.

Not sure how strong Shi Mu and Liu Ming are in the story compared to Han Li, although Han Li is supposed to be supreme, but the story actually ended when he ascended to the Immortal Realm. People in Baidu suspected Nine Origin (mentioned in RMJI, appeared as avatar to Liu Ming in DD) to be Shi Mu.

Nope! The timeline is actually TPW -millions of years-> DD -no idea how long-> RMJI. Mother Insect died in RMJI.

Spoiler for Mother Insect and DD finale:

Mother Insect is one of the final antagonists in DD. She appeared at around the middle of the novel, Liu Ming got caught up by the space distortion for the 2nd time and transported to Beast Continent, after he finally defeated the novel's main antagonist, the Devil Master, he went back to the Devil Continent and curb-stomped the old enemies, saving the devil princess, then Beast Continent to help to fox waifu and in the final 30 chapters he came back to the Main Continent and fought against the underling insects and Qu Yao, trying to prevent Mother Insect and Qu Yao King to come over to the Continent. There were 3 final bosses with 2 reached the apex of their realm (Mother Insect and Qu Yao King were at the apex and are far stronger than Devil Master), Liu Ming dealt with Qu Yao Queen who was weaker than he was, while sacrificing his absolute best weapons that he used to defeat Devil Master to seal the portals from the Insect and Qu Yao world for 800 years, all because he was no match for either of them.
