I think Sawano mentioned that he could talk about the fall anime he was composing for on the 10th? I can't remember for sure though.

That design reminds me of the 90s, especially those shoulders.Can't say I like it but I don't hate it either and I figure it'll grow on me.

It's not like there isn't precedent for looks like this in works by Imaishi and Nakashima. Take Yoko from Gurren Lagann for instance.
