Mangascreener and Hawks started a new joint project Homunculus. It's from author of Koroshiya Ichi and it's great. Art and story are fabulous. I don't want to unveil too much but it's about a drilling a hole in a skull. Even if you didn't like Koroshiya Ichi this is a worth of reading. In my opinion it's a lot of better than K1. Kind people of Hawks & MS released whole first volume so go read it. Now I'm eagerly waiting next volumes.

PS. Nothing to do with Fullmetal Alchemist

i've read the first volume looks a bit weird but i wouldn't expect anything else from the author of koroshyia ichi, i just hope that it won't be as disturbing as ichi

Actually, it gets even more disturbing than Ichi as the following picture will show us:

Now you know that the title is actually a typo, it ain't supposed to be "Homunculus," but rather "Homo-culus" as our original poster had very well realized.

You guys I awsome, I really liked the first volumes, it kind of reminded me of Leviathan for the general mood of the thing. I'm anxious to know how the story will develop.

aaaww, I was actually expecting it to not be a joke

im very picky with manga since reading in a screen gives me horrible headaches and printing it is too expensive. But a manga with hawt men x men action is a sure winner for me ^_^, so I might not try this one out.

I knew it was a joke, but nevertheless I had my hopes a little up

THis looks like it's a cool manga. I've never read any of this person's work before.

Homunculus looks like it should be a great manga, my only hope is that there will be a bigger story than just the main character going around helping people resolve their personal problems.

What i find funny is how somebody who loved Ichi, thinks that a manga which features gay men is sick. From what i remember, Ichi had a scene involving 2 men having sex. Oh wait, one of them was dead, so obviously THAT doesn't count.......

Anyhow, this series is pretty damn good in my opinion. Has that twisted/creepy/interesting feeling that I just love. Great change from the action manga's. I can't wait for the next chapters.
