Why did Hideyoshi suddenly died out of nowhere? Was he sick? Was it poison? If it was how come nobody question that? And who the heck was his best friend blablabla who deid shortly after? I feel like missing a lot of meaningful stuff there...
Anyway, from the looks of it we got two lords who wants to rule, ofc both say they will do it for the totototobla clan but yeah, unlikely to happen. From the looks of it the old guy Isomething got the most support while the young guy Mitsomething got the least. And the brothers are divided, with the older brother who leads the Sanada clan following the old guy and the younger brother (and maybe some of the Sanada soldiers, dunno if he got any though) following the younger guy. Kinda feel like I should drop this series after the third episode... |

HOLY CRAP! Episode was amazing.
Yukimura completely took over Masayuki's (his father, who was a commander in Ueda along with Yukimura historically) role, so he is main strategist in Ueda here and boy, he was cool. Episode itself was heavy on strategy. I also enjoyed pre-Sekigahara talk. But show still lucks budget, so Date vs Uesugi fight was mostly stills. Overall, the episode reminded me of the Yokoyama Mitsuteru Sangokushi (or, Arslan Senki OVA, altough this one is far-fetched). Last edited by AntonKutovoi; 2015-01-25 at 12:25. |

Nice second episode. I love historical stuff from this period. This is better than I expected, so I'm happy. Nice to see all of those good characters and their famous lines.
Poor Sanada(s). I wonder if Ina is part of the reason the decision was made that way...

This show is freaking awesome with the way it adapts its battles. I just love how they transit between some of the flashbacks that holds influence to events of the current present. Yukimura impresses me both physically in battle and mentally when it came to strategies. I hope the show can keep up this momentum to flesh out his character even more.
As for the other characters besides Nobuyuki, Date caught my interest there. He looks like someone who can potentially do quite a bit in this show.

I've noticed that other than Naomasa who will be (FINALY!) playable in SM 4-II, Hideyori and Hidetada aren't 'generic' officers anymore. Wondering if they'll have a unique plot of their own in the upcoming game. I'm also half-hoping Hidetada won't be so two dimensional of a character for the rest of the series.

Can anyone remind me of the exact time era of this series again? I keep forgetting. But for the latest episode, I have to say that Yukamura is quite a brave man for what he does. His action speaks far louder than words alone. We'll see how far he can carry out his ideals because he's got quite a target on his back.

1583 - special 1590 - first episode of the anime 1600 - Sekigahara 1605 - end of this episode This episode was quite nice. Also, this anime made me like Yukimura much more then the games, where I was quite annoyed by him sometimes. Although I still sympathize with Nobuyuki's ideals and goals. |
