I have only seen the anime version. The ending was simply beautiful. I wasn't crying or anything but I felt a sense of peace and relief for those two. I haven't read the manga version but presuming you also did see the anime version would you recommed it to people who have already seen the anime?

Of course!!! But in the end of the anime is different from the manga ending...

Wait, why didn't remmington die at the end? Why did he look the same? I know he is something other than human, but I wish the series explained it better.

Just finished watching Chrno Crusade, really enjoyed the ending. The beginning was a bit boring and slow paced, but I thoroughly enjoyed it overall.

I personally enjoyed the manga just a little bit more, but the anime ending seemed to explore its themes better. It was also more interesting, since the creators tied several famous events in history with the supernatural.(Prophecies of Fatima, WWI(Great War), Black Thursday) It's quite a shame too, since the ending got a little too muddled. Two more episodes could have been added to make a bit more sense of everything that happened in the series.

The manga ending was enjoyable too, but it kinda pushed the time setting factor aside for pulp sci-fi/fantasy fiction. Most would like that more, but it's just not exactly my cup of tea, especially since I like historical accuracy in fiction. The rest of the manga was more enjoyable than the anime, though.

I just finished Chrno Crusade and I loved it.

and since they both had to die....
there just was no more sad or more beautiful way then this:

I hope they spend eternity together.

HEY EVERYONE! well...a couple of months ago i watched what i consider the greatest anime of all time, which is...well you can see it in my title ^_^, all the chracters are amazing, well...the elder is a pervy old man and Aion is...well a pervy middle aged man

but anyway any Chrono Crusade fans don't hesitate to comment, would love to know what you think about the anime

Couldn't believe how good the anime was, especially as the manga was brilliant, i just love the Chrono and Rosette romance story, and why does no one live Genai! i fought he was pretty hardcore ^_^ must of been just me

Why does this confuse people, he's not human they mentioned it like 3 times in the anime. :/

I enjoyed both the anime and the manga series of Chrno Crusade. I would say my favourite characters were Rosette, Florette and Satella. Azamaria was also a great character.
