First of all, if you clicked this thread expecting something like Girls und Panzers or C3-Bu, abandon all hope now. This is a bleak and gritty war story, something like a cross between Full Metal Jacket and Now and Then, Here and There with some aliens thrown in for fun.

PLOT: When the world is invaded by aliens, the government of South Korea has no choice but to draft all the high school and college students in the country, turning their campuses into training camps where the new recruits are rushed through the basics so they can get to the front lines as soon as possible.

The art's pretty ugly -- worse than Attack on Titan -- and it's one of those Korean webcomics where you just keep scrolling down one long image, but even so it feels like you're reading the story boards for a blockbuster movie. Well, if they made blockbuster movies this bleak and depressing.

I enjoy reading this webtoon.

Seeing teenager becoming soldiers and how they deal with the war.
It also brings out the best and worst of them.
I like that it's not afraid to kill off some of the cast.

Holy Necromancy.

Anyway I started reading this by chance and got immersed by it. The art style doesn't bother me at all, actually it's fitting to the story.

Chapter 49 is out, and it looks like next one is the last.

Sure doesn't look like we'll have a happy ending. Anytime you see one of those now-and-then flashbacks for the entire cast, you know it's "rocks fall, everyone dies" time.

The Thread made just after the series ended? Wow.

I like the long scrolling...gives it a cinematic effect...

The Art's worse than AoT level? How? Its far surpasses that. The Webtoon media frees it from some of the limitations of printed comics, such as the aforementioned continuous page - That's why I hate when some site chop off it to several pages so it read in more conventional comic page manner.

The last chapter is awesome. I would've liked more resolution with the personal relationships, but I guess Nara's not in the mood for romance after what she went through.

Too bad this never generated the interest that Tower of God and Noblesse do.

Crazy kid went nuts and kill three of his classmates before being killed. The teacher covers up everything by making it look like they were killed by the aliens since if word got out of what really happen, the unit's reputation will be tarnished and the credits that was supposed to be given to them retracted. After a year, the aliens threat has been eliminated and the survivors try to continue their lives. __________________
