Since I think it's supposed to be a Nyan Koi parody, I would tend to think Neko.
Think they made them donkey to make it relevant to the storyline O.o
Also, donkeys are known to be stubborn creatures, and Hina is stubborn about giving up on Hayate.

Since the thought just came to me, weren't Machina's fox-ears similar?

In one chapter (can't remember where) Machina took on the traits of a fox when burgers were mentioned by Athena. Don't think it was actually supposed to be an alternate form-type thing.

I actually found the whole Zimbabwe Dollar thing slightly coincidental since I watched the day before The Daily Show and it mentioned the Zimbabwe Dollar, and yesterday I read the chapter and it mentioned Zimbabwe Dollar.

In all honesty, this chapter is like...comfort food for manga. Somehow.
It's like, tension is finally gone and we're getting back to the standard routine.

Just slightly out of topic, this week's Hata's diary is interesting. Hata was eating late lunch in a restaurant and he saw a man and a woman talking. The conversation was like this

Note: My translation is not very accurate.
The man says that he is from a respectable school.(TN: How do I translate '高学歴'?) The woman wonders why he is talking about that. The man says that since the woman was with him for a long time, she knows that he graduated from Kyoto University straight. The woman laughs and says that even if he knows that, he shouldn't talk about it. The man continues talking. He says that he graduated with quite high marks, and went into the one of the best companies in Japan. The woman says that she knows it, but he shouldn't say it. The woman asks if he is boasting. The man says that since he is like in elite course in the company like that, he receives a lot of wages. The woman says that he is completely boasting, and says that he should get out of that course rightaway with a laugh. The man says that he never spends too much money nor gambles nor drinks lot. He then says that he has quite a lot of money in his bank. The woman says until when will he boast. The man says that he thinks he will not make her live a hard life in this world of economical depression. The woman asks what he is talking about. The man asks woman to marry him. The woman freezes. The woman asks the man if he is serious. The man says that there no joke in what he had said. He asks her once again to marry him. The woman smiles shyly and accepts his propose. And both of them goes out of the restaurant, hand in hand.

And Hata commented 'If I could use this story in manga, then I wouldn't have to make a conti for this week' as he couldn't think up of even one page.

Hm... I dunno, maybe he could use it with Yukiji and Kaoru.

Oh yeah, for the next week's chapter, Hata commented that the biggest crisis in life will start.
(He didn't say who, but I think it's Hayate)

I think that since it's from Hata's diary then it could be connected to future developments in the story, so it doesn't stray much from the topic

Ho. Ho. Man, Hata sure got those ideas for his manga while he was having a late lunch in a restaurant. Anyway primuler, for what Hata saw and recorded them in his dairy, what is he trying to do with the next chapter which is related to the conversation that he saw with his very eyes?

From what he's written, he's just wishing that he could somehow use it in the manga as he couldn't think up of any idea for the next chapter. I'm really curious about what will happen in this week's chapter though. I mean, Hata said 'the biggest crisis in life will occur'. As if the encounter with Athena was not risky enough... and he had said there will be no more physical battles like the one with Midas in the series anymore... so I'm curious what sort of crisis it will be.

Hata says that Athena vs Isumi is the battle of the people with highest offensive power in the whole series. He says that it's a rare battle scene in this series. As he and his assistants are not used to drawing battle scenes, they're having trouble. He says that there's no battle scenes planned for a while after Athena arc.


Just to let you know, I've been only reading spoilers for past three weeks, so I hardly have clear idea of what's going on now, and I'm not interested in reading the chapters until the arc is over. So... unless either this arc ends or something interesting comes up, I won't be back (to be truthful, I'm kind of busy at the moment)
