As I said before, I know not "ALL" men are like that.. But subconsciously, no matter how hard I try, I know deep inside.. I cannot help but think they.. Never mind, I might start a flame here..

Anyway, some of my childhood experiences:

@ Steph
It's my personal belief that anyone who's had a strained, or even non-existent, relationship with their parent of the opposite sex is going to have some slight issues when it comes to the opposite sex as a whole. Our parents are our first role models; our initial perception of how people in general are probably has a lot to do with our earliest bonds with them. I think it's a very deep seated thing that most people can't just shrug off, even if part of us knows we should. Learning to trust men when you have had nothing but negative experiences with them is not going to be easy, likewise if you're a guy and have never had any positive female figures in your life. But I think the more positive encounters you have with men in your life, and it sounds from your previous posts that you have had several, the more you'll probably be able to tackle your problems with them. I've been in this boat to some extent myself, though for far more trivial reasons, and having made friends and formed close relationships with lots of guys has really changed the way I feel. For the most part, it's something I have completely overcome.
But I think your attitude to your life is incredibly positive, and I think it's something you could change if you want to, probably without anyone else's help. Just my two pennies worth, anyway. ^^

Never thought about it that way.. About parents, yeah I do know that, but didn't imply it to myself.. Actually, there's more that happened.. Well, for one last time jot them down, I feel like I'm circulating the conversation to myself..
Spoiler for Just to finish:

Anyway, too much of that.. I just wanted to finish what I started.. =P

@Soul
Cool.. I accessed your page, but didn't know how to play or become part of it..

@EVERYONE
Sorry for bumping this but..

Since we all are waiting for MariMite's next season, why not try this:
Spoiler for Samples:

@Internal
If you meant me differing men and women in the anime samples I gave, no.. Look at this meanings:

Animes have different 'demographics' or 'target market', of course, there has to be an specific audience to which they want to deliver the anime:

# Shōjo: Intended for girls
# Shōnen: Intended for boys
# Seinen: Intended for adult men
# Josei: Intended for adult women

And Kannazuki no Miko, Mai-Hime/Otome, and SP are intended for Shonen audiences.. While MariMite and Revolutionary Girl Utena are intended for Shojo audience..

Of course, I'm not saying the other won't like the other.. I like KnM, although only episodes 8+, in my own opinion (and I mean, it's just me) I find the story at first to be slow paced, and the mecha aren't really that "BOOM!!" just ok.. As for SP, it's good, but I don't wanna re-watch it again.. Mai-Hime/Otome? Haven't tried it yet..

MariMite & Utena? AWESOME!! n_n
BOTH are.. n_n

Well, I've always believed you judge a person, male or female, on their deeds, actions, and intentions individually. I've watched this show for its deep story, great plot, and the fact that it makes your think sometimes, also for the comedy. In addition, I love shows with a lot of character development, which this show I don't think can ever run out of. Male or female, it really doesn't matter, because both have their good and bad, you can't cast a shadow on one without knowing that you judge only half of the whole. Of course any farther I go without hearing more from you would just sound like I'm preaching without listening. So I'll leave on the old quote, 'One can judge a book on its cover for its content but not the story between it's bindings without reading it first.'

Yeah, I know that, but it's in my sub conscience, I'll just wait one day for anyone to prove me wrong..

About Utena:
Spoiler:

Anyway, the thread is quiet for now.. Until 4th season comes, I guess..
I also know that once the rumor of MariMite is licensed confirmed, MariMite thread will be erased cause only unlicensed animes are allowed here.. =P

Yeah, but I think you forgot one thing Stephanie, that the company that was supposed to be doing the licensing, is shutting down the presses and are questioning ever opening them up again. So I don't think it'll be getting licensed in R1 anytime soon. So you still have time to post on season four as much as you like.

so now it's Utena? ah i haven't watched it before..
i think maybe once, in a hotel in US. And that episode i watched went straight to kissing (and naked scene too)...but because i've never watched it before so i couldn't recognize the characters... tho it was a shock to me when i saw it on U.S. tv....it was fun anyways haha

yes!!! WE HAVE A FORUM for mari-mite now!!
i already registered hehe
and yes, we need otaku people who have a love for yuri~

coz i desperately need the translations for mari-mite's light novel....

Well, your stories are quite short, so there.. =P

Anyway, got to go for now, quite in a hurry..
i wanted to watch Kannazuki no Miko..it seems interesting
err why scrap out strawberry panic?
dunno why but i'm currently liking this series....only Amane and Hikari tho
Shizuma and Nagisa are just an imitaion of Sachiko and Yumi...
i agree that there's a lot of imitation from Mari-mite...but i just can't help watching them >_
Mai Hime is good too...tho it's for male audience...(so it's shounen type?)
we need more classic yuri animes

On second season, you see a lot of takano and today , i found out the seiyuu is miki ito. now if anyone wanna see sachiko as bad evil sexy nurse, u guys shld watch higurashi.

I love the show because I feel a conection to it. I just starting highschool and I'm a lesbian in a North Carolina town! Anyway I feel a very strong conection to Sei-sama because I had a similar relationship to what she and Shiori had (and if i may add she was a fool for leaving sei)
Spoiler for My Shiori:
I also feel conected to her because she was strong enough to move on with her life after Shiori. That and shes just the coolest person on the show!

My, that must be sad.. You still love her so deeply, don't you?
How are you in life so far? Do you still feel depress?

If I may ask.. Why did she kill herself? What was she so afraid of that killing herself was her option?
