I am very interested in the third season. Given how they handled the ending of the second season (which was mediocore, really) they've largely jumped of the track of following the manga. There's still a couple of the plot-related chapters they could incorporate, (and pretty much all the comedy ones) but a lot of the plot might be moving in new directions.

Sora no Otoshimono 3rd season
I know there was a announcement in the beginning of this year for a third season of
Sora no Otoshimono but since then nothing so was it fake or just taking a long time to develop, it was such a good anime, one of my favorites so if anyone has any info please post it Last edited by Siphine; 2012-09-17 at 20:24. |

Hm, I finished the 6th volume of the manga recently and also the first season of the anime. Honestly I kind of jumped into the series like a headless chicken, not knowing what to expect. To my pleasant surprise, this ended up being very entertaining. The humor's nice and the story's intriguing at best, though I have to say the anime focused a lot more on the comedy, not to mention it was less dramatic, at least to me.
Soo, I guess I'm now a fan, hehe. Yet another guilty pleasure to my list. This series manages to be slightly above generic, which is nice. But I've been wondering, how is the second season compared to the manga? Did they give more attention to the story or did they just focus more on ecchi and comedy again? What about the manga, does it get better later on? |

I haven't read the manga but i have watched the 2 seasons and have to say that there is a lot of comedy and ecchi still but they do get pretty serious somewhere around episode 4 and start to develop the story a bit like where ikorus and nymph come from and that sorta thing but it still has plenty of comedy but i guess thats what makes it unique

My only concern about season 3 is about Chaos. She's supposed to be a mortal enemy of Tomoki's angeloids in manga version, yet in its anime counterpart she instead made peace with Tomoki in the last episode. How the studio will bring her up again in season 3? Anime original? Stick with manga with several changes? Or annihilate her appearance completely? Man, i'm so impatient to wait for its airing.
