Seems the staff was announced in Shounen Ace. I haven't seen an actual scan myself, and it's not up on Moon Phase yet, so it's not 100% real, but I think it's legit.

Oh, Dai Sato does series composition.... it's been a while since I've last watched an anime with him on that position.
I think I might give the series a chance after all. The manga didn't impress me very much but the staff sounds decent and Manglobe guarantees at least for good production values.

Spring, huh? So is this possibly confirmation for a two cour Kaminomi (starts in Fall) or has Manglobe ever done multiple series at once? Or are they the kind of studio that takes a season off in between series?

It appears that Shounen Ace doesn't have a staff listing this month, so that entire listing could be fake.
In other news, it seems that Hideto Komori is going to be directing a Manglobe series sometime next year. He posted on his blog and twitter last month that he was approached by the Manglobe producer and given an offer is the biggest turning point in his career. Eventually he posted that he accepted the offer, and would be making his directorial debut next year, but he could not name the show. Might have nothing to do with Deadman Wonderland though. |

Just heard about this. Didn't expect this but makes perfect sense really. If Manglobe can get into their mood and pull something off similar to say Samurai Champloo or Michiko then this could get really awesome. While I would have wanted Bones, this is darker material than what they are doing now so I kinda expected they wouldn't do it.
Do we know if that staff listing is fake now? |

Details; * Director: Hatsumi Koichiro (Darker than Black + Karas episode directons) * Series Composition: Muto Yatsuyuki (Sengoku Basara) * Original creator: Kataoka Jinsei, Kondou Kazuma * Character Design: Yamda Masaki (HENTAIS) * Animation Studio: Manglobe This, definitely, doesn't look good. Director is unexperienced and it's manglobe, which is only good at animation part but never storyboards or directions.

I hope that Romi Paku will voice Ganta, Saori Hayami as Shiro, Mamoru Miyano as Yoh, Katsuyuki Konishi as Senji and Kana Hanazawa as Minatsuki. I also thing that the opening theme will be doned by Uverworld, ending theme by Meisa Kuroki and scheduled for 24 episodes if the original material has currently eight volumes.

^ The problem is, you are never right.
and knowing current situation of Manglobe, if they do 2-cour series again for late night anime and fails again, they will be in some serious trouble.

Sigh, too bad the previous staff list had to be fake, this one is far less reassuring.
