OK, check the very ending for adjustments - but I have no means to make Hayate/RII not to know of the events (especially considering the disintegration of the magic dampener

)

EDIT: Estimated time between Tais' abduction and return ~30 min, it's possible that Hayate didn't leave her room (she had to deal with the liquid too

), Tais could be returned just before other characters entered, so the scene would be approximately same with bigger "WTF?" and different reaction of Hayate.

Also I justified the presence of Sarah and Mirian during Kha's arrival.

To make the edit more noticable - I had Tais returned back to Hayate's room, Sarah and Mirian were told to keep observing RF6. Well, I think it's possible to make Hayate/RII forget the event after all but it'll look like a too convenient plot device, not to mention overpowering SSD

This needs major edits. While I like both, there is a time line problem with everyone's story. Yui ended her log near dawn, which both Hero and Kha seemed to missed. While Hero's scene can fit in rather easily, Kha's has some problems like the time and the fact that Yui is acting as Tais's voice atm.

I'm willing to edit mine but reading Kha's scene a few times, I have no idea how i can edit mine to fit both of your's

Mine takes place around dawn in time, so it should fit. Would Yui interfere in my scenario or she could just keep observing as long as Tais' life wasn't in danger?
Kha's probably takes place in the morning too and should go after mine. He should speak himself regarding the rest.

EDIT: first part of Kha's post happens in the night ... the rest could as well be in the morning, I dunno now.

Yui won't interfere in your scenario not like there is much she can do anyway

Kha's arrival is 10 minutes after Tais & Yui bumped into the Aces and that is the main problem.

I read your editions and yes its fixed. In fact, you gave me an entire new idea! I've removed the R1 sequal and here's the bit dealing with the aftermath. Here it is, more action!

It's been a while since we have some hard core action in the thread.

Kha's a trained healer and paramedic (I'm still in training though, sigh), so I thought I'd take this chance to demonstration Kha's real edge which never was fighting prowess, since the other Aces outmatch him at everything except shielding, but as the best field medic in TSAB.

Sorry if I blew everything out of proportion. For more drama I made things go completely out of expectation, especially after noting that Serge was wondering about "enemies" and such, so I made his subordinates overreaction even bigger.

Hope its good.

EDIT: Mine is based on Hero's, but taken a totally different twist, so looks like I made things worse rather than better? OKay I'll fix the time. That fighter thing was for Keroko now, so let's take it to be a different thing.

EDIT2: Okay Time has been fixed. If Hero's scenario occured wee in the morning, then Kha's "night flight" is actually an absurbly early day flight, which fits cause from Megami we know that the Aces are up at 5am everyday.

Cool! I like how it developed. The only problem was with timelines but you fixed it and it's perfect now. I didn't plan the goo to be that powerful but this way it's even better - will settle some uneasyness into RF6.

Several people contributing to a single scenario appeared problematic in the beginning but it starts to turn out good - waiting for the next move, my guys are currently on stand-by

), also I wonder if she realizes their nature, as Aces are theoretically familiar with Serge's ability and can assume a connection here (and I mean not simply recognize them as made of condensed magic particles but understand their interaction with regular magic).

I cheated here. Sakura used "Blessing of Freedom" on Zwei, but due to the complicated nature of the threads it took a while to break out. Still, it was not them who did the unbinding; Ask them how the threads or the counter worked and they'll just shrug and say "The Light knows."

But yeah the threads would definitely be a hint, and even if not, Kha's Whispers work out the magical make up of the thing. He's very good at sensing magical structures, hence he can identify people via their unique magical circuits in them. Now the other thing left behind was the gel. If it was a Device, Kha's Whispers would be able to at least probe how it works and where did it originate from unless effort was made to purposely mask it. And if Yui wasn't completely reformatted, there are ways of data recovery like the tech we deploy on our HDDs when they crash. But I believe Intel isn't that dumb to use anything less that industrial grade data removal techniques, ne?

I almost screamed Dr West when you first posted him, and its still hasn't gone away, for I remember Dr West making a "unison device" of sorts in Demonbane.

East is intriguing. Even I can't tell who's side he's on.

Did Vayeate come from G-Wing? But from the looks of it, only the name and the color scheme.

One thing though. They all don't look evil, just on the wrong side of the law.

The problem here is that the prescribed treatment is befriendship, which... Not everyone has.

Just noticed the notes (I should pay more attention to posts' updates) - reading this and also checking Kha's profile for more detailed description I agree with the way Blessing of Freedom freed RII from the aether thread bind. Normally it should be imposible to see or feel them coming off though (well, the bound person would feel it

), but re-reading the story I guess the comment was unrelated to the characters observing the process, so everything fits nicely. Serge on the other hand will be more cautious, as he can't be sure that his trademark ability wasn't exposed.

Can't wait for the story's further development

Fate: Reinforce's come back! 2 Ks: What?! Nanoha: I'm just as surprised! They're in Hayate's room right now. Keroko: When was that, Nanoha-chan? Nan: Last night. But Hayate's tired so we're letting her sleep in. Kha: Well its 5 am now, and she's usually up by now. Well then I guess we didn't need to bother coming to comfort her first thing in the morn-- (Whispers scream) Something's not right. (glances around) Someone's... watching us. ---- Sarah: Sir, someone's just arrived. It's Knight-commander Kha from Saint Church 21st Trinity Optimus and Captain Keroko from Rogue Squadron. He comes from a family that is naturally talented in magical powers and many of his family has entered the TSAB as combat mages. West got along best with his youngest brother, who was only a year older than him. West has always taken a great interest in magic in all of its forms and spent much of his free time studying it. Always enjoying to challenge himself, his studies led him into some of the most difficult topics in magic, including Ancient Midchildran-style magic and Unison Devices. After taking formal education in the subjects, he was granted work at a research company which dealt with devices, while his youngest brother enlisted into the TSAB and soon became an enforcer. West's job in the company had him work in the design and creation of Unison Devices. As each Unison Device must be custom-crafted for each user, West took to the challenge and created devices for each of his clients to perfectly suit thier user. As such, he had become a highly respected person in the field. One day, he received a request from his brother in the TSAB for an Unison Device. He immediately worked hard on it and eventually came up with a device that perfectly suited his brother. Unfortunally, once his brother tried using the device, he went out of control and started attacking everybody that went near. Eventually, the TSAB managed to dispatch him. He got along well with both of his siblings even though the two often fought. His brother had aspirations of becoming a mage in the TSAB although his sister showed no capabilities of magic. In any case, East grew up happily with his family in a small village on the 3rd TSAB Administered World. When East was at the age of 12, and his brother was about a month away from enlisting into the TSAB, he came across a Lost Logia in the village. Coming in contact with the Lost Logia caused a great explosion which completely destroyed the village. Horrified by what happened, East fled the scene, taking the Lost Logia with him. Desparate to hide himself and scared of his new-found power, he began to practice holding back and hiding his power. Soon, he was found by a group of people known to the TSAB as the Logia Pirates, who gather Lost Logia and other powerful artifacts to gain power to eventually rebel against the Midchildran government. East, joined the Logia Pirates and, not wanting to use his real name, became known to them as "East". 2 years after joining the Logia Pirates, he left and instead joined the TSAB under yet another name, Telris. About: Telris, once in the TSAB, acted as a relative newbie to magic and trained under the Neo-Belkan style. Although he displayed the capability of a quick learner, eventually it became visible to the instructors that he was holding back, although he denied it. Telris slowly but steadily rose the ranks. He often simply kept to himself and would leave the presence of other people whenever possible. Very few people got to know him. Even while in the TSAB, he kept contact with the Logia Pirates, and although exchange of information was sometimes had, even the Logia Pirates were unsure about Telris/East's loyalty. Telris uses an Armed Device he calls Rings of the Morning Sky, which takes the shape of two rings in its active mode. He also has with him the Unison Device Tempest. With his Armed Device, he concentrates on close to medium-range combat. Although he is capable of remote casting with the device, he rarely uses it from any more than 7-10 meters away. Often, he'll use the rings as close combat weapons or short-range beam attacks. His style is mostly defensive in nature. Spoiler for Tempest: Name: "The Fierce Wind" Tempest Gender: Male Age: Unknown Hair Colour: Light Green Eye Colour: Black Mage Rank: A (Estimated) Magic Type: Ancient Belkan/Neo-Belkan Magic Colour: Light Green History: Unknown About: A Unison Device of unknown origin, Tempest usually hangs out around Telris/East. In appearence, he looks like a young boy. Unlike East, Tempest is a rather vocal person and is quite friendly. He gets into arguements often but never stays angry for too long. Frequently bored, he would often wonder off, which usually causes East to go look for him. Despite being a Unison Device, he rarely commences fusion with anybody. Instead, he usually fights along side East. Using an array of magicaly-enhanced martial arts, his specialty is close combat. Although he does have some medium-ranged attacks, he mostly simply uses his high speed to deliver hits with his hands and feet. Spoiler for South: Name: South Real Name: TBD Gender: Female Age: 26 (estimated) Hair Colour: Blond Eye Colour: Red Mage Rank: S (Estimated) Magic Type: Ancient Midchildran Magic Colour: Yellow History: Unknown About: South seems to appear randomly during battles, announce her target, and then attack the said target. The target she chooses also seems to be random although she always announces that it's her "gods' mission" for her to fight the target. It is unknown which gods she is describing. Although she attacks fiercely, it appears that her objective is simply to fight the target. She stops when her opponent appears defeated and retreats when she believes she is overwhelmed. There has been one instance of her target not giving up even when at a point where the person is nearly incapable of fighting. That one instance is the only recorded instance of her killing her target. Since South's area of residence has yet to be found, it is widely believed that she lives in seclusion. South is known to use two devices. One she calls the Crystal of the Daylit Sky which, like its name implies, is shaped like a crystal even in its active form. It is believed to be a Storage Device. The second device is the Unison Device Vayeate. In combat South is known to use defensive barriers and shields and offensive beam attacks simultaniously. She also seems to be able to affect the origin of her beam attacks, making her rather proficiant in close combat. Spoiler for Vayeate: Name: "The Cursed Wind" Vayeate Gender: Male Age: Unknown Hair Colour: Dark Blue Eye Colour: Green Mage Rank: A+ (Estimated) Magic Type: Ancient Midchildran Magic Colour: Blue History: Unknown About: A Unison Device with an unknown origin, he appears along with South and is known to fuse with her. He appears as a young man. Vayeate is believed to be blind and navigate and locate solely by using sound and magic. Even with this handicap, he has shown to be proficiant in medium and long-ranged combat using a variety of magical projectile attacks. There has been no records of Vayeate talking at all so his personality is difficult to discern. Given by his facial expressions, it seems that he is angered easily and that he enjoys battle. Little further information has been gained.

Rancer: (offscreen, faintly) I can't believe I let you talk me into this. (View jerks around to rest on Major Nova Alto, now very much out-of-focus thanks to the previous calibration moments before. The auto-focusing function valiantly fails to correct this entirely.) Nova: (presumably with her usual smile) Welcome. My name is Major Nova Alto, from the 37th Criminal Investigation And Apprehension department of the Time-Space Administration Bureau. (View cuts to outside the 37th CIAA office. Several people, clerks and Enforcers, are slowly walking past in the stiff manner of people who have been told to "walk normally". A couple of Enforcers stop in front of the office, and turn to each other.) Enforcer 1: (haltingly) Man. It is good that we have small units like the 37th Criminal Investigation And Apprehension department to help us keep the peace in all our jurisdiction. They are a vital part of the Time-Space Administration Bureau. Enforcer 2: That is correct. And true. (The two of them stare at each other for a while unblinkingly, and then continue walking stiffly offscreen.) - (Scene cut to outdoors, a standard training ground. Reiz is there, in her Barrier Jacket, looking particularly nervous. Standing some distance away from her is Zafira, in an ill-fitting lab coat.) Zafira: (boredly) You cannot stop me now, because my plan is about to come to its final fruition. Ha ha ha. Reiz: Um, uh, w-we will not let you get away! (She points staff-form Impulse at him.) Zafira: Ha ha. Ha. Hayate: (offscreen) Put more feeling into it! Zafira: (rallying) Ha! Ha ha! Reiz: P-prepare yourself! (She shuffles towards Zafira, and carefully taps him on the shoulder.) Eiyah! Zafira: Oh no, I have been defeated. (He theatrically falls to the ground.) I was a fool for going against the Time-Space Administration Bureau. How could I... (He trails off with a puzzled expression. Glancing to the side, he blinks, and then continues speaking.) ... could I not have seen the error of my ways? Reiz: Um, um, victory is o-ours! W-we have once again s-served the cause of j-j-justice! (She attempts to make a V sign, uses the hand still holding Impulse, which leads to a fumble and dropping it onto the ground. She hastily picks it back up, looks frantically at her hands, before finally getting it right.) (Pan up.) - (Scene cut to what looks like the entrance to a hospital. The view is slowly focusing and defocusing on the left half of Yuuno's face.) Yuuno: Um, my name is Yuuno Scrya, and I'm the Head Librarian of the Infinite Library. It's a big job, but I have to say that I've gotten fairly used to it by now, especially with the help of all the other departments and Lila. Ever since I found myself on the 97th Non-Administered World and, uh, discovered Nano- I mean, Captain Takamachi, my life has been a very exciting one. All in all, though, I'm glad that I managed to end up doing a job I loved, and the Infinite Library is a treasure trove of information about ancient civilizations and, um, other matters of historical- I mean, I'd like to see more of Na- uh, Captain Takamachi, but as it is, we're pretty busy in our- (Focus suddenly snaps to a tall figure in the background carrying another person over his shoulder, yelling about broken feet. There is a distinct flash of white before the two enter the hospital proper.) Yuuno: -own positions, and we don't have much time to see each other. Oh, but we'll always be good friends, and, um- well, it's not really my place to say it, but, uh, we've kind of, um- (Very brief error screen.) - (Scene cut to Ivey sitting at a desk, fingers flying over a keyboard, face locked in concentration. There is a window behind her showing clear skies.) Ivey: Hm, the 37th CIAA? Ah, I transferred in when... hm, when was it again? Well, it doesn't matter. Rancer and I were pretty much a partnership, and he... (her eyebrow twitches) Uh. Um. Uh, where was I? Anyway. We solved a few cases, nothing really big, but some of them got the brass really interested, so we got some tougher assignments- ah, don't do that! (The view outside the window is marred by a single distant mushroom cloud. A faint thump from the shockwave is heard.) Ivey: Sorry, that was to the, um, computer. So, I don't really mind that other units get all the big jobs and big publicity, since that's how the world works, and I hear that the TSAB's gonna be recruiting- no, don't go there! Uh, recruiting more people and raising the budget or something. That's got to be good, right? Or something like that, and- no, no! (She exhales in frustration.) Who's that anyway? "Frozen Ministra"? It just happened to be me. hears a silent beep as something blows up in the courtyard WHO'S MESSING THE THE HUNTER SEEKERS? Spoiler for Revelations of...SAY WHAT!?! Part 4a: One hour later, Hayate and co. came back in to see a slightly flustered Mabiko drinking a cup of tea, her dress unbuttoned a few knots to let her air out her cleavage as sweat could be seen on her skin still. Putting down her teacup, Mabiko shot Hayate a glare that could easily equal the scale of Eternal Coffin. Mabiko: Don't ever do that again, Yagami. Especially when you left an audience. A groan from the corner where Zafira was showed the poor wolfman in a pool of blood from nosebleeding. Hayate: ...Oops. ^^; Mabiko: Sigh Anyways... FLASH Shishioh Guy, Evoludar, grappled with his former high school rival and now Bionet operative Wanibuchi Shuu, Z-Metal Cyborg, in the cockpit of GaoFar, neither gaining the upper hand for control of the new Mechanoid. Guy: Shuu, why are you doing this? Shuu: This is my last chance, Guy. Let's settle our rivalry fair and square!! At this moment, a flash of light filled the cockpit zone as Mabiko warped in, slightly dazed from the machinery and the green light. Despite the light, Guy and Shuu continued their fighting. Out of the corner of his eye, Shuu saw the girl as he quickly threw a binding grenade at Mabiko in a fraction of distraction as Guy noticed Mabiko. Guy: Look out! Mabiko: Eh! Uwah! The binding grenade restrained Mabiko as Shuu shot out another cable and dragged Mabiko over as he put a sharp knife hand to Mabiko's throat. Shuu: Hold it right there, Guy! Guy: kh...why you!? Sensing a chance, Shuu threw Mabiko at Guy and locked himself into the GaoFar controls. Guy quickly tore off the bindings on Mabiko. Guy: Are you alright? Mabiko could only nod, dazed even more from the rough handling. Meanwhile, the chamber began to glow green as the Mechanoid's systems booted up. Guy: Shuu, don't do it. Your body can't handle the G-Energy! Shuu: I can and I will! FINAL FUSION! Outside, the signature electromagnetic tornado formed as the GaoMachines locked into their programmed paths and began combining. As Drill Gao II combined with GaoFar, parts of Shuu's knees sparked and exploded off. Guy: Stop the process now. You'll die! Shuu: Shut up! Liner Gao II docked in, causing one of the chest bindings on Shuu to explode and become dislodged from the controls. Guy: Shuu! Shuu: Heh heh...looks like I never will be able to surpass you, Guy... Guy motioned for Mabiko to come over. Guy: Watch over him for me. I've got business to finish. Mabiko could only nod as Guy took the controls for GaoFar. Guy: FINAL FUSION! Answering the call, Stealth Gao III docked as the Super Mechanoid was formed. Guy: GAO! FIGH GAAAAAAR! The reborn pillar of courage turned his sights toward the flying hat fortress of Gimlet. Guy: Gimlet! You and only you are the one I cannot forgive! PHANTOM RING! Pulling his right arm back at the waist, it began spinning up as the forearm spun in one direction and the fist spun in the other while glowing its signature red color. A golden ring was emitted from the body of GaoFighGar and floated in front of it. Guy: BROKEN....PHANTOM!!!! GaoFighGar slammed his spinning fist through the golden ring as the forearm Ul-tech rocket booster ignited, detaching the fist as it flew at Gimlet's platform! Gimlet: This will not do at all! A shield appeared in the flight path of the Broken Phantom, but it does not deter the rocket punch as the golden ring cuts into the barrier, opening a hole as the Punch itself flew through and tore a hole in the platform. In the moment of impact, a single craft launches from the platform, carrying a young girl and its pilot as Utsugi Mikoto carries young Allouette to safety on Gundober Hoverbike Mode. Gimlet: This will not do at all! Fall back and regroup! As the retrieval teams arrived, Guy and Mikoto were next to the stretcher of Shuu as it seemed the Z-Metal Cyborg was on his last breath. Guy: Why, Shuu? Shuu: I wanted to face you one last time...but you had to go and get yourself nearly killed in that shuttle flight 3 years ago...I wanted to have...one...last..show..down... Mabiko slowly walked up to the other side of Shuu's stretcher, twin Kusanagis in hand, as he turned his head to see her. Shuu: Sorry about the binding grenade... Mabiko: Shuu-niichan was try to keep me from getting hurt...I don't blame you... (Please, Kusanagi...if you have power left...help Shuu-niichan...give me another miracle!) Raising both hands high, Mabiko stabbed both blades into the mechanical heart of Shuu as his body began glowing white. As the light died down, Guy and Mikoto gasped at what they saw. Slowly getting up to look at himself, Shuu was clad in Blue armor similar to Guy as he got off the stretcher to pick up the exhausted sleeping Mabiko, who had collapsed after pulling the blades out of his shining body. Shuu: ...Thank you, chibikko...maybe I can atone for my sins yet... Mabiko: At that moment something began to stir within me...I did not want anyone hurt when I was around...perhaps my linker core was adapting to the conditions of the world...whatever it was, I never knew in detail. FLASH Mabiko takes a moment to pour another cup of tea as she sees Rein trying to clean up the pool of blood. Zafira had regained consciousness, only to be squeezed by the girls at the slightest of movement. Fate: I remember reading reports of these odd energy emissions from some solo enforcers near those areas. You're saying...that was you? Mabiko: Partially yes...and partially no. I'll explain that soon, but first...Nanoha-chan? Nanoha: Yes? Mabiko: Bind Hayate before she causes anymore delays, please. A quick bind later, Hayate was strapped to her seat. Hayate: But they're so soft...like pillows. Okay, looks like I'm gonna need to split this next part into two posts...my imagination got the better of me.
