Anyway, on more serious speculation, every character can potentially be john titor in the future that came back to help out Okarin. Should I order them by most probable/obvious:

1. Okarin (though his ability to switch timelines makes it unlikely)
2. Suzuha

6. Mayushii

... and leaving out Feyris since she has hardly appeared in these 7 episodes :/

I'd say Mayuri before Kurisu, as she was there when he got the texts and can't possibly be him in that case. So we can pretty much totally rule her out.

maybe she's the one who stabbed Kurisu, and back to the current episode, Suzuha questioned Kyouma that he was brainwashed and also she looks his eyes if there is a chip. i think that she's the one chatting with Kyouma about the topic they have (or maybe not....)

John Titor can be any character already introduced, but his/her future self traveling back in time... so it can be Kurisu, even Okarin (depending on his ability's specifics)

For Mayushii I can not really speculate because someone spoiled me with a future game event which affects my judgement.

But for Kurisu, the fact that she died in a time-line, makes it improbable, but not impossible, still depends how time-travel works. For example, is there one time-line, where every time-traveler can make changes, or there are multiple and the time-traveler decides which one to travel to? First case would make time bidirectional (IRL it is unidirectional), while the second makes also multidimensional (IRL it is single-dimensional) Despite not been touched in the anime yet (I hope they will at some point)

I go with the second theory, only because of the graphic they show during the Titor narratives (a 2D-tree), which implies multiple parallel time-lines... on the other hand, this posses another problem, since if you actually make a change in the past you either fork (what was shown in the graphic) or affect only that time-line (what Titor implied). But in both cases whatever Okarin does to save the world somewhat insignificant, because he will affect only one time-line (either the forked or the one he acted) So not much of a messiah, as Titor also suggested... anyway, rant's over, probably next time I should draw a schematic like Haruna@KoreZon

I very much doubt Kurisu is John Titor, but I'm just saying, in a series with time travels and literal time-travelling text messages, everyone's alibi is suspect. It's pretty convoluted, but not impossible is this setting.

I don't think Kurisu is John Titor as she has no idea about IBN5100 and had to ask her friend about it.

She doesn't know about it now. I personally don't think Kurisu is John Titor, either, but if by some chance she was, it's quite possible that along the way her future self either learned about the IBN5100 on her own, or through her work with Okarin.

Great episode. Can't wait for the explanation behind Rintaro's ability to keep his memories of the previous timelines. And there is also the possibilty that other characters have the ability as well.

Oh, and Mister Braun's daughter appeared just when I thought Steins;Gate was lacking loli type characters. Not complaining or anything, though. Diversity is nice.

To be precise Okarin does not keep his memories (he remembers only the events of the time-line that initiated the change, and has no memories the changed one), and also there are no previous and future time-lines within the frame of reference of the show, only previously shown to us the audience

Finally, after a long wait, Steins;gate being appreciated. I was little worried since chaos;head didn't get much attention as it should have. It shoudn't have been only 12 episodes in the first place.

Anime is great but the Game is way better

Btw, there's a parody sequel of steins;gate after the events in True route, called

Seeing how the plot is getting a bit more dark and serious...I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Kurisu or someone else dies and Okarin goes on a time-looping mission to save that person like Homura

There's no reason to assume "John Titor" is a single person, especially since all we have of "him" is messages in a show where messages travel through time. What if "John Titor" is the entire lab? (And what do we make of "John Titor" suddenly becoming less well known after the time-shift in ep1?)

And - my favourite, though unlikely, speculation - what if "John Titor" is really a hoax, and he's winding them up? Oh, the irony that would make.

If it's the internet, you can easily wipe out links to a website using government connections. Just look at how streaming sites etc are easily taken out of Google searches.
