If he's supposed to have amber eyes...wouldn't that mean that he split Apollon from Apollo and created Amata? and that's why he has no smell? Big difference, Amata has been confirmed to be born from Alicia. By both Mikage and Amata himself. His lack of smell could be because he's lost a big part of himself that became Kagura. Or just that Kagura can't recognize his own smell on Amata.

Also the child was confirmed to have Amber hair like Amata has and Kagura doesn't. The eyes can be a side effect of Kagura's creation like how when Mikage used his power on those 3 pilots their eyes changed in a similar way. Because the spell creating kagura is still active, Amata is still affected

such a sad episode. The battle was awesome and one sided at first and Kagura even won and manage to get his girl but still fails. The ending of the episode was really sad

God damn. Even though I knew what happened from reading spoilers I still teared up when I saw Jin's picture in the ED. Gah! And poor Yunoha. She looks like she's taking Jin's death pretty hard in the preview. ;_;

I wonder if Jin's "funeral" is just a troll. Why would they bother introducing his shield element in a spur of the moment and then just kill him off immediately afterwards without putting it to any real use?

Spoiler for purpose:

His barrier Element did help to close the gate that Mykage was using to power up Kagura's mech. I haven't seen the subs yet but it seems to me that Yunoha and Jin's defensive powers combined is what snapped the gate shut. So plot wise, Jin served his purpose in saving Neo DEAVA...and Kawamori will now receive truck loads of pineapples in his mail for that.

I mean seriously man, how could you just kill Jin. Much less how is anyone going to survive when this guy can just assassinate at will? If the guy with the whole shielding ability isn't going to make it who will? Just...damn you...you crazy hax creepy guy.

Just...damn. I was focused on what might happen to Yunoha going through that gate that I didn't think they'd kill Jin. I mean yeah I had a pretty bad feeling the moment he got that injury to his forehead. Though I'm frankly not sure how a cut to the head made him more susceptible to a bloody flower petal.

Rough episode for Jin. Well also for Yunoha. Finally finds a good pairing and then they kill the guy! Which means she either ends up alone or limps back into the very ugly Amata sweepstakes.

On that note nothing serious happened to Zessica....yet. Thought something might happen here or Aquarion would have issues, but apparently not. With the focus on Jin's likely death I wonder what will happen in the short term.

I'm REALLY hoping, though as unlikely as it seems, that Jin is only going to be put into a coma so that he can come back towards the end of the series. Seems like so much a waste for him to be killed off after everything.

I'm getting some bad vibes concerning Zessica. The state she has been in lately makes me think she's gonna be manipulated by Mikage to do something bad.

Jin dying was a major wtf moment, I wonder how his defection and death will effect everyone especially Cayenne since he was a major jerk to him.Plus now that I think about it this is one of the few times we see Fudo actually shocked and angry, he was mostly calm and smiling but not this time apparently

Anyone else get the feeling Izumo is gonna come to Earth to try and make peace considering Mikage is out of control and just killed (please don't let it be this) what Altair considered their Adam.

Jin being the last born on Altair, reminds me of the child shadow angel from the OS. Once that shadow angel child was killed in the OS, the shadow angels were pissed. So, if they find out Jin is dead the people from Altair will be pissed, but then again...Izumo doesn't trust Mykage, so he will have his suspicions or blame Kagura for it. Perhaps even point it out to Mykage that it was his fault..

I am very pleased that they made some of the pairings shine in this episode. AndyxMix, DonarxSuomi, AmataxMikono, KaguraxMikono and of course JinxYunoha (heartbreaking but they did have such beautiful scenes in this episode).

Kagura is indeed becoming a dangerous threat to NeoDeava BUT its a little disappointing that most of his strength comes from Mykage or Altair (it seems that way to me anyways).

I really enjoyed that little moment when Kagura finally got Mikono, but was very happy she's not kidnapped yet! I think that should be saved till last.

Oh yea, did I miss the bit where it says that Shrade is ok to pilot now? I mean the last time he was on a vector everyone kinda freaked out for him and suddenly no one commented about it or seemed worried? I found that odd

I have a feeling that a clone Jin will appear later on. One that does not remember Yunoha and she'll have to reach out to him and all that.

I AGREE with you about Zessica. It seems that they HAVE been showing alot of jelly scenes. Considering that there's lack of BAD guys around, I'm betting that Mykage will use her jelly feelings and manipulate her. I really liked how they portrayed her on this episode though, I'm glad she put her feelings aside for now and just helped everyone with the battle.

Next episode looks like a sad one! Looks like there's more than Jin's death. Which makes me wonder if that blue-haired cat ears guy (the one that sometimes read everyone's stats on battle) is dead or not. Didn't see him on this episode.

All in all, am very pleased with the episode.

I've surmised by this episode that Kagura and Amata have to be the same being. It seems a little odd that Mikono always envisions Kagura through Amata. It wouldn't be weird, not unless they are actually related by some circumstance. Otherwise, I think the Zessica choice is completely out the door. Unless for the next thirteen episodes there is some drastic change like a certain couple I know from a certain movie I now pretend no longer exists. It would have to be a large change. Otherwise, Amata is all Mikono.
