You can connect your PSP to a tv set, provided that your unit is a slim. I hope it gets ported to the PSP soon after its release.

I know, and guess what? My unit is not a slim

And I prefer a PS2/PS3 controller over the PSP, since you get the extra R2 and L2 buttons that the PSP lack. As well as a better analog stick.

Your tv set must also have the component video input, otherwise it won't work. I have both the ordinary cables and a psp slim, it displays the UMD game title, but if you press start, it gives you an error.

I have just recieve info that, following Gundam VS Gundam, another arcade hit from the Gundam franchise, Senjo No Kizuna will be releasing on the PSP come this spring featuring 4 VS 4 ad hoc action.

Though I have nothing solid now, there will definatly be more info on that soon.

Eh? EH?! That would be interesting to see, esp. if this happens and captures version 2.01's mobile suits and fields instead of the earlier version's, but the controls set-up will be hell to see, IMHO.

You see, I work as a purchaser for games for a retail chain that sells mangas, games, toys, etc and just recieve a note from one of my supplier asking me to place orders for a bunch of games that will be releasing on Sony's platforms this winter/spring.

And Senjo No Kizuna for PSP was on that list for March. So I have nothing soild apart from that list of mine. No doubt Bandai will pick the most primitive version of that game to be ported at best.

Any word on a North American release of "Mobile Ops: One Year War" for the 360?

That would not be a surprise, esp. considering that the revision just came out in Japan on 8 December, and Bandai could then milk the franchise for more money if they can then "announce" new mobile suits like the GM Custom or Char's Gelgoog. Hong Kong was still, as far as I know, on an earlier release. It should go over pretty well - unless the controls set-up is complete garbage - and if the port looks good, I think. There are several people whom I know in Japan and the U.K. who would be interested in getting the UMD. Having the ability to play in adhoc networks alone would be a plus.

The AI in version 1.X was really bad, though, so it would be a big plus to get version 2.X's instead.

Thanks a lot for the head's up! I'll go look at the atwiki to see if there are any updates also.

Don't bother with wiki as a credible information source, it doesn't even have an exact date for it's release.

And by the way, the release date was two days ago.

It is in the game. You get to fight Psyco Gundam alongside Zeta in Hong Kong with it too.

Video.

Oh my, they're re-using the original score (of course it's re-done). Oh my that is brilliant news.

Thanks to their loyalty to Zeta's score in various robot games the music has really grown on me, especially since they aren't able to use the OPs and EDs due to copyright issues.
