Holy Jesus shits expelled from the sacred anus... I just fought B.Battler boss... has any1 beat him? While I was chuckling to myself over the comical battler between B.Battler-Battler vs B.Battler-B.Battler he wtfpwned 75% of my hp bar I only landed maybe 3 hits but by the end of it I was down and he was back at full O.o really makes me wonder whats unlocked after they're beat.....

So I've been playing this for just one day and I may be a little insane but.

Have you noticed that if you choose Jessica as your character and then the school festival as the stage theres another girl playing the guitar...

Doesn't she look a little like Rena?

Or maybe Im out of my mind.

He is beatable, you just need to not do things that would leave you greatly exposed to something. Obviously you will have to eat one of those long winded 236236C combos to get some combo bar, and then you should try striking him with some hard.

Also, I heard a few people beated him... but I still see no footage of said thing around the net.

You are not out of your mind, it's possible it could be a girl that looks like Rena or actually rena. Just like how Tomitake is taking pictures in that very same stage.

There's a new "Touch" Mechanic in Cross, which is incredibly cheap also. If you're blocking and call-in your assist, you'll stagger the opponent(he'll be open) and the incoming assist earns a free combo.
Boss Battler starts with full gauges, and he does this every single freaking time he blocks something. You can't make him block, or you lose 50% of your life.

And no, you can't do this too him because he's so cheap and broken that the opposite will happen, the stagger doesnt affect him at all and he'll actually recovery and punish you on the spot!!

And I don't even want mention how his "Everyone-Boost" affects the gameplay

... Plus:

-His throw instantly stuns you. No matter who or what you are.
-All of his buffs' effectivity (boosts) DOUBLE when in Meta-world.

And look, I won't even talk about how the AI in this game is extremely reactive and can win every situation.

They need to nerf this...B****... Boss and they need to do it fast.

As I understand it, there are now two versions of guard touch, neutral (the old version) and forward. If you press forward + touch, the opponent will be thrown back further and also become vulnerable to a combo. Black Battler does the new one, but you're probably still using the old one.

Has anyone tried using forward guard touch to interrupt Black Battler's defense?

Anyway, i've faced B.Battler's boss a few times...and got raped all those times. He's got armour boost, so damage against him is always halved or something. Yet the only way to win is going to be to combo away his entire life bar, because the moment you let him recover is when Resurrection kicks in, not to mention that he likes calling Meta when he's around half health just to spam his lazor to recover with massacre.

I've also tried all the cheap characters. I tried Lia's spear, Beato's stakes, Rosa and her gun, a Battler/B.Battler combo, Erika's spinny scythe throw...if he manages a single block, he'll either pull off some stupid combo, call meta and lazor you, or run at you and grab using his auto-stun.
