That's freaking hilarious cause I didn't even notice that. I just saw zoom zoom and bam.
Some mind rambling and not really coherent thoughts: This is such a good ending, and they should never anime Nise and just let this series end like this. I'll probably go back and rewatch it later when I don't have to fastforward (fml why come out on a Friday instead of Thursday). Freaking SHAFT made us wait ONE WHOLE #)$*%#) YEAR TO FINISH THIS WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. Really, this entire episode could just be summed up as: get #$*%#*$( Araragi. The amount of red I saw was wonderfully gratifying. The opening bits make me actually do want to see a Kizu OVA (still forget Nise, that pos). I swear the entire budget episode here was spent on Shinbou's like 4 seconds of ownage. OF COURSE, WHO CAN FORGET THAT OUR ONE AND ONLY QUEEN BEING THE SUPER AWESOME HIGHLIGHT EVEN THOUGH SHE IS NOT REALLY THERE UNTIL THE END. That's right you stupid Garbage-kun, the one thing you did correctly this whole damn series is remember what she said, though your little speech around 7:40 or 7:50 was pretty awesome too. The music choice overall's pretty fitting too. The fast pace tempo near the closing bits of the arc was pretty sweet. YAY 10/10 FROM ME. |

Totally brilliant. I had almost forgotten just how good this series was. The "look and feel" above all, but the characters, events, and voice-acting, too -- even if we never did get a sound from Hirano Aya.
The animation/sound effects for Shinobu were outstanding. Motion views aside, this still view is a classic: Spoiler for image:
By the way, I think Japanese obscenity laws will keep that band-aid in the BD. Not sure how legal even the present version is in other countries.

Speaking of Nadeko, this episode shafted her so badly, I swear even freaking Meme got more screentime than her. Also, the lack of adds made me angry. I was still betting like 1 in a million chance of it announcing a new anime work from Nisio, like say ... Zaregoto.

Although Mayoi looking inside a random mailbox for Shinobu was hilarious. |

Which is lame! They should just have more random shots of Nadeko anyway =3. Though to be fair she didn't really have a spot in the novel this arc. Anyone know if there is a real animated OP instead of this ... thing that SHAFT used for the last two (or was it 3?) episodes?
