so far im totally in love with gundam UC.
one thing though... i noticed quite a few pieces that are not in the currently released OST collection. it was rather obvious for me that this wouldnt be the entire soundtrack of course^^ but still, does anyone know when the 2nd volume of the soundtrack will be released? i love the episodes but what i love the most the the brilliant soundtrack...

Nothing has been announced yet, but Unicorn has been doing too well for there not to be a second OST. There just haven't been enough new tracks yet to justify the release of a second soundtrack.

Everyone cites this "the producer said this" and "the director said that" but I've yet to see any concrete proof of these claims.

So why do people fight, anyway?
Perhaps the meaning of existence lies within their will to fight.
People feel a sense of accomplishment through battle.
And it’s also a fact that the ones actually fighting are never perceived as being tainted.

Yes, yet that person just says "oh here you can read this if you want a source". I've yet to see this fabled interview in the magazine :P I've been requesting scans for quite a while haha

Bandai Announces June Anime Slate

So Bandai is doing their horrible "Part" splits with this too. Such a shame.

Going by the length, Unicorn Pt. 1 looks to be the first two episodes combined.

I'll just stick to PSN download with Gundam UC atm. I'm hoping they'll create an extended version sometime, I heard rumours of alot of cuts (true or not, they probably had to cut some things).

Given the time frame, it's also possible they tried to mash all three episodes that have been released so far into one two-hour episode.

I doubt it, but then again, they have screwed over 0083 like that.

Two episodes each DVD seems sensible.

0083 was just mecha porn with a horribly-executed plot. There wasn't much to screw over in the first place.

I hope that's what they do.

Two does sound good, but I hate when they call it parts. I do think three would have been better. Splitting it two ways is good, but I was hoping for a box set with all six. My big concern is that only the DVD is listed there. I hope it includes the BD. Bandai has been really stupid with the BD. K-On but not Gundam 00. I heard it was because of Sunrise, but they could have done more about it.

They better have a good ending for the final episode, something that rivals 'Beyond the Time'.

That's almost impossible. "Beyond the Time" was a masterpiece.

Agreed. I can't help but replay it several times whenever I listen to it.

I wonder how the booster assisted rocket pack connected to the delta plus rear? Maybe its just a normal hands grasp.

Late notice, but if you live in Northern California, then you can go watch episodes 1- 3 of Unicorn in one San Francisco's movie theaters. More details here

So they let Californians see the first three episodes, but only if they go to the one place in California no one wants to go to. Smart.
