Yes, but if I recall correctly (and I may not be), his arm wasn't torn off, as he had it in the episode where he and Sasori emerge from the cave to meet with Team Kakashi for the first time. I'll re-watch the episode to be sure, but I could've sworn he still had that arm...maybe I'm just an idiot though =P

Edit: So I was wrong, thanks for clearing that up, monster. Guess I'll have to be more attentive next time.

Is anyone else not happy with sasori's look? I was hoping they would have taken some liberties with his design and gone for a bishounen/uncanny valley sort of look. Now he looks more like an amalgamation between the wendy's girl and a raggedy anne doll.

I always thought Sakura/Chiyo vs. Sasori was one of the best fights in the manga. The animated version of it isn't too terrible so far, but it could've been so much more. I think my favorite animated fight is Gaara vs. Lee and no fight since has been able to touch that.

This fight is taking too long.To whole ep was around a minute in the anime.I hope Sasori finaly kills them

Idd the gaara v rock lee fight is undoubtedly my fave of all time too.

Seriously though, like I said before...the anime is stretching far too much...get to the 1:1 ratio and all will be well.

Eh? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it's currently 1:1 and that the original Naruto series was 1:1.8 chpts or something. Think I caught that piece of info from the Q&A thread.

I've read Manga and that last episode wasn't even half a chapter tbh.

Actually Ive seen worse. In DBZ, When Freeza fight Goku for the 1st time, he destroy the Namek planet's core and say something like:

And then a fight follow through 3 episodes... :P
