If people like them a lot, then they will get a truck load of fan art then..... Which means us getting even more sick of seeing them. We've run over that once or twice in the Spoilers and Speculations thread... but we haven't really got anything. A popular crack theory is that it's Young Kinzo, who had such a fascination with gold that he started wearing gold contacts.
As for Red Suit, her identity has been guessed to be so many things. Kinzo's Beatrice, Witch-Rosa, Witch-Jessica, Shkanon... those are what I can remember at the time.

Too bad young Rosa isn't an actual design by Ryukishi and was only thought up by fans. So I doubt the character has any relevance to that.


Oh, and don't expect me to start discussing hypothesis' on who these people are either. I'm not too fond of it. I'd rather just wait and get the confirmation.

Well young Rosa was actually made by studio DEEN so it's semi-official.

However the new character only looks similar to young rosa in the portrait. If you look at what Ryuukishi himself made, then she (he?) is totally different.

Actually young Rosa in the EP 3 manga looks the same as young Rosa in the anime. So my guess is that Ryuukishi is okay with that design. I think he would have actually approved all character designs before allowing them, so they match his original intentions.

nope, it ain't them. They're just characters she created.

I don't think they look alike at all though, the only similarity i see is their hair color. So you should just remove that image since it's not Umineko related at all

It's possible that Natsumi Kei might have helped create the anime character designs. If you look at the EP 4 manga you can notice that the design for Maria in the diary past is also the same in the anime.
