Dont feed the trolls .. They said there's 1001 series that deserved 2nd season but what do they do? They download the episodes but never actually support the series.

Series like this, peoples buys merchandises .. Take a look at ikkitousen, 3 seasons running because fans feeds its fuel.. and producers know there's money to be made = more seasons.

Sekirei are light series and fun and the characters are lovables .. even the bad guys *points at BunBun's crazy devotion towards Karasuba* .. Yes, the fanservices are one of the major factor.. but nice story overall. And I'm married to Tsukiumi :x

But seriously how can you not love her!! More bad guys need to be like her. If they ever made a figure of her, Id buy it.

It seems that this was originally set for January premiere, but due to scheduling, was pushed back to April.

Not really.

Though we thought this during the first season, and with a little change in the story, they ended it quite nicely after the bridge fight.

Actually most manga readers thought it was going to be the bridge as the end, it was really the only place they could end it.

Eh not during the first few episodes. Back then we weren't sure, plus the fact that the episode count wasn't official back then. It was once we found that out, that it made since to end it at after the bridge battle.

I have an idea of where it could possibly end but itll still end abruptly I think (unless they do filler).

Actually as much as I wanted it to start in Jan, Im glad the manga will have a few more chaps in it before the 2nd season starts.

Hm I got into this series as I was trying to get another fixing in the likes of Tenjou Tenge/Ikkitousen, somehow this series was made as a reference if I liked the former but as I watched it seem to be more harem-ish than all out of fighting though the few animated fight scenes it had was quite impressive and at times way better than anything Tenjou/Ikki could ever hope to offer.

Anyways once I got adjusted to how this series was I thought it was...ok at best, not terrible but not really amazing either (probably because I looking forward to the actual tournament part...heh) but it still has my interest for a second season so I'm still looking forward to it. Tsukiumi really helped me get through the show as the stand out character. I also want to know what happens with the Kakashi looking "guy" and Mika since everyone seems to be so afraid of her.

Anyone with theories on how season 2 will start? It's already quite obvious that another winging is in store, but how exactly will it be done? The Manga setting for the winging is already impossible, so how exactly will they pull this off without breaking the continuity?
