I'm a singer myself
I prefer singing boyband-type music I go from pop to rap and a bit of rock I also sing in english, japanese, and korean my voice changes between each language and adheres to seperate genres better such as: english tends to be very generic boyband japanese leans to be very melodic and emotional while also having a quick-tempo korean has become my rap language, but I sing more than just rap in japanese please note that I SING rap like I rarely do any generic rapping unless the song calls for it so yep what I listen to the most would be called KPOP(Korean Pop Music), but I listen to several others at a somewhat lower level |

Apparently I have voted "Other" on this poll. Must have been some years ago.
Would have picked "Electronic" if that was available. That's broad enough. Some genre names, that much of it falls under: Drum'n'Bass Hardstyle/Hardcore/JCore some Dubstep variants, but few real Dubstep Electronic music of other sort Doujin music, if you can call this a genre. I'm thinking of anime/otaku themed music originating in Japan here, mostly Touhou, but also stuff like DJ Sharpnel I follow artists more than genres. A bad artist can make you hate your favorite genre, but a good artist shines in any genre. It is really hard to put many artists into one of the very narrow electronic music genres, if they like to experiment. |

I seem to have voted "Heavy Metal" in this poll a couple of years ago. Well. That has certainly changed.
I'd say my favourite genre at the moment is Japanese hard electronic music. Hardcore/Hardstyle/Gabber (Nu-style also)/Speedcore etc. I mostly listen to the doujin artists; I'm not at all familiar with the "mainstream" in Japan. Aside from electronic music, I'm a big fan of Porcupine Tree. So in a sence psychedelic/progressive rock/metal is a favourite genre of mine. Krautrock also.

I'm just wondering why people don't like country music. It's happy and easing. I love country music very much. My favorite artists include Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Jake Owen, The Band Perry, etc. But Taylor Swift is my No.1 superstar forever!

Most likely Romantic, with Classical period being a step behind. I adore Romantic music for its range and intensity of emotions, but Classical period music is also nice for a simpler, more grounded approach.

I like many types of music. Rock, some Metal, some Rap and Hip-Hop, some Pop, and many sub-genres of Rock (Hard Rock, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, Punk Rock), etc. I listen to lot of music I hear from anime and video games too (even though I can't understand Japanese). I listen to music that I don't really know why genre they are (that goes for English and Japanese music). And even though I can't understand Japanese music I hear from anime (unless I look up the translations), I can feel the emotion in the song - which I like in music, and I'll also like if it's really catchy. I've been listening to more anime and video game music lately, more than anything else I listed here. I love those types of music. <3
