If it's true though, I feel dumb for not even noticing that. I always though Renon was a reference to Rena, and Manon was a weirder one to Mion, just as a random thing.

Regardless of the truth of some of this, I want to draw some of these characters.

I have no bloody idea what's going on anymore, but as long as Blondie is a man it's all good.

Oh jeeze, currently there are screenshots going around of servants Manon, Runon, & Renon.. Shannon's body with Mammon's head, Levi's head, and Luci's head. 2ch is going on that..
Manon = Ma = MAmmon
Runon = Ru = RUcifer
Renon = Re = REviathan

Likely fakes, but.. those names sound very plausible regardless.
There is a HUGE contradiction if this is true...

Runon or Renon were said to only clean where Natsuhi looks, that would make them slothful...

The point is: Neither Mammon, Lucifer nor Leviathan are the Stake of sloth.
The stake of Sloth is Belphagor.

If I trust the echoes on various boards where people supposedly have it and post their conclusions, I'd have to conclude that I have been overthinking Umineko for the entire time and the answer is much stupider and inherently inelegant.

But the same thing happened before Ep6 was translated, too, so I expect opinions of the early posters should not be trusted. Screenshots, now that's another story, but they only present a very fragmentary image.

It is more like: I have no damn clue how you can trust "non verified spoiler" and also the fact you are only basing some sort of premise with potentially whacked opinions (Of course, I'm not talking about you Oliver, but the "you" in a general sense).
Even some people here were saying crap about Episode 5 before actually reading it.

...This is why I always hate the release day of a umineko episode...*sigh*.
I ask all of you to post only content that are likely to be legit (not the content, but the source, although there is no foulproof method) , and no some random lines whatsoever (alas, there are many fake spoilers around though).
Quoting random stuff from anywhere like 4chan is nothing trustworthy (obvious troll attemps and whatnot), so going high heels on it is beyond ridiculous. If anything, I'm tempted to simply lock this thread for a while.

They'll probably be enshrined in fanon, once this gets out. Maybe there's a new EP7 USO BARE (fake spoilers) video out soon. 8) Those are always awesome.

I'd have to agree with Klashikari. Everything so far looks less then representable to be anything legit from the actual game. Plus it will less confusing for those who can't understand japanese, (such as myself). -_-

Episode 7 looks incredible... this is where Umineko truly begins.

I think this one is legit... because is a photo, not a screenshot.

Spoiler for The epitaph being SOLVED!... I think ;-):

Screenshot or not, it isn't hard to just make a fake script of umineko and launch it with its engine.
If you think about it, our patch is actually working this way: we do not alter the script, just the engine is using ours, along with part of our files and the rest of the original game.
Even some Japanese fans actually made script of their own fiction that you simply can add in your umineko installation folder.

Therefore, the fact it is a photo or a screenshot doesn't mean anything. It could be umi6 engine launching an altered script.
The "more" legit screenshots/photos are definitely the ones involving the new characters, since it is unlikely for someone to copy Ryukishi's style that well. That said, nothing prevent people to just make a picture of them from the real game, and paste it as a background with the engine text (fake) all over it (but one would really have a LOT of free time for this kind of thing).

Eva has already solved it.

Since there has been no word of Battler or Beatrice showing up, than it is possible that Battler / Beatrice and Leon cannot exist on the island at the same time. Therefore, Beatrice = Battler = Leon. Just a thought.

NO Battler mean NO murders. And we have red text at the end of 4th episode about Battler =/= Beatrice.

Something came into my mind.

I know You've been the Detective for these last four games (to Battler)

Yet Nice to meet you, hello! I am Furudo Erika, a/the detective!! I may be an uninvited guest, but please welcome me!! I am the visitor, the eighteenth human on Rokkenjima!!!

A/the detective

Could it be that Erika is Battler? Crazy I know... since in EP6 she fucking decapitated most of his family. This of course if you believe... so what is Battler has personality disorder? He did kill some-one and maybe grew a unnoticeable Personality disorder...

Probabily not high but still a speculation

It would also explain the 17 thing
