truth be told even if touma washed ashore he'd be dead cuz he's in one of the coldest fucking places on the planet. His body will die just fro falling in the water.

On a scale of 1 to 4, Touma would be a 1. Because he's a protagonist which means he obviously won't die.

If he died then he would return as a ghost. After all there humans, angels & witches so why not add ghosts.

Although he is one of the main protagonist his situation is falling under #2 on the Sorting Algorithm Of Deadness scale. Either way since there is no body it's almost confirmed he's still alive. Plus his death is also kind of vague in detail.

What if ghosts and spirits are just the AIM / Telesma that remains when an esper or a wizzard dies? When... Kazakiri? I just don't remember her name, the AC artificial angel... Well, when she observes the Imaginary Section, she watches figures and so on, because everyone has an AIM field, was'nt it? Or at least that is what I understood watching the anime. And then, I thought it was like an spiritual dimension / world.

So maybe ghosts really exist in toaruverse in the form of remained AIM / Telesma body fields.

You guys are misinterpreting what they mean by "they flee to the nearest church".

Alot of big church buildings actually have smaller churches inside them, if you have been to westminster abby you would know what Im talking about, and assuming you have read v7 you would also know what its referring to.

Touma's death is lame, and I now that sometimes making the main characther died is awesome, but seriously,he's a shounen hero,the death doesnt suit him.In the other hand,if Accel died saving Last Order, that would be awesome

You think falling a couple thousand kilometers on top of a falling rock to crush an angel and being plunged into the sea is lame? That's... a little bit of a tall order you know.

And Accel shouldn't die. He's only just figured out what it means to fight to protect someone!

I think Touma is the most GAR person I ever knew. I like it when his remembering all the things he had done. It's like his really dying with the flash back of his past.

well, after this volume, not really, not anymore

it'd be kinda cool if while Aleister starts to put his plans into motion and things get worse in the real/human world, we get to see Touma in a different dimension, heaven/hell/wherever Aiwass comes from, punching his way through to get an explanation about his power and himself

Aqua of the Back is a saint, has magic, etc. He can afford to be Gar. Poor Touma on the other hand has bad luck and a penchant for landing himself in hospitals. He can't really afford to be as Gar as he is.

Spoiler for 22: everything turned out nicely except for Touma XD as always I don't like Hamazura part, I wish Kamachi to just decide to erase him from to aru world. and about that "golden arm" or the "purifying" ritual thing Fianmma wanted to do. that sounds really silly...
