I'm just wanna say if theirs no body then it's most likely that Touma is still alive. Also http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...ithmOfDeadness

Although he is one of the main protagonist his situation is falling under #2 on the Sorting Algorithm Of Deadness scale. Either way since there is no body it's almost confirmed he's still alive. Plus his death is also kind of vague in detail.

There were hints of ghost existing in Toaru, the Russian Church train their magicians to specialize as 'spirit-hunters' describing them as 'things that aren't suppose to exist in this world' similar to how the English trained theirs as 'witch-hunters'.

What if ghosts and spirits are just the AIM / Telesma that remains when an esper or a wizzard dies? When... Kazakiri? I just don't remember her name, the AC artificial angel... Well, when she observes the Imaginary Section, she watches figures and so on, because everyone has an AIM field, was'nt it? Or at least that is what I understood watching the anime. And then, I thought it was like an spiritual dimension / world.
So maybe ghosts really exist in toaruverse in the form of remained AIM / Telesma body fields. Last edited by Zaresh; 2010-10-12 at 20:25. |

You guys are misinterpreting what they mean by "they flee to the nearest church".
Alot of big church buildings actually have smaller churches inside them, if you have been to westminster abby you would know what Im talking about, and assuming you have read v7 you would also know what its referring to. Last edited by ramlaen; 2010-10-12 at 23:00. |

Oh come on, Touma's not really dead. Not "dead" dead, anyway. We still don't know the secret of what Imagine Breaker actually is (you know, one of the driving forces of the plot?), and now we've got a new Chekhov's gun in this hidden power of Touma's. He'll be back.

And Accel shouldn't die. He's only just figured out what it means to fight to protect someone! |

well, after this volume, not really, not anymore
it'd be kinda cool if while Aleister starts to put his plans into motion and things get worse in the real/human world, we get to see Touma in a different dimension, heaven/hell/wherever Aiwass comes from, punching his way through to get an explanation about his power and himself |
