Well, RIP the Geneon name I guess. Like the Pioneer LDC name before it (1981-2003). Their ownership hasn't changed though - they've pretty much been owned by the NBC-Universal group since 2009.

When I was watching the DVDs of Index and Railgun, they showed the Universal logo so I don't see much changing, just that it's NBCUniversal Japan now(and yeah, not entirely thrilled that any future release from them could have the Comcast name on it).

In any case it's going to look a bit awkward from now on.
I mean, I'll have to get used to the idea of an American entertainment conglomerate now running a Japanese subsidiary (although we might not be seeing some exports, and besides such subsidiaries would be working autonomously on things such as Japan-exclusive items that would never be brought in America due to marketing reasons).
