Anyway, I think you're all a bit weird to be eating Corned beef and Cabbage, but Patrick's day is a celebration for all irish people, including Irish-Americans, so...
We can have our differences over corned beef dinners, but Irish folk and Irish-Americans can both agree that U2 is great.

What do Americans think of the US?

YouTube
Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

Oh well, you can perhaps take pride in knowing that USA lasted longer, went further, and played with much, much more pride in World Cup 2014 than England.

Have fun, and enjoy the barbecues and fireworks!

Atleast that's a sensible reason to maintain a tight fireworks regulation. My country had to do it because too many kids blew their hands up making their own (by cutting up small fireworks and mixing em into one big one.)

Granted, it's not very well enforced either but atleast there's less news on kids with blown hands.

4th of July here in New England. New Hampshire, close to seacoast and close to Boston region. Rain all day as hurricane Arthur is nearby (out at sea).

People around here will have barbeque cook outs on Saturday, as the weather is supposed to be great in the afternoon and evening.

Happy 4th everyone!

Quiet day here in North Carolina after Hurricane Arthur passed by yesterday. Had some pulled pork BBQ, mashed potatoes, corn, and a craft brew. Good times. America!
